About
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is based in Austin, Texas and handles HVAC work across the area. Their background centers on large scale semiconductor production facilities that demand tight control over air handling and temperature regulation to support manufacturing processes. Austin's hot summers and occasional cold snaps make reliable heating and cooling essential for both industrial sites and homes, and this company applies its operational experience to those systems. Homeowners in the region often deal with units pushed hard by the climate, leading to frequent service calls for maintenance that keeps everything running steady through the year.
Technicians manage full installations of new air conditioning units along with repairs to existing setups including duct cleaning and thermostat replacements. They handle jobs like fixing airflow problems in older homes around Austin where humidity builds up fast and causes strain on compressors. Work also covers regular tune ups to prevent breakdowns during peak heat, along with ventilation adjustments for commercial spaces tied to production needs. Customers note steady responses to calls about ice buildup in cooling lines and uneven temperatures across rooms, with fixes focused on getting systems back online quickly without extra complications from the local weather patterns.
Customers consistently praise the speed of response times during urgent summer calls and the solid quality of the repairs that hold up over multiple seasons. Feedback highlights fair pricing on parts and labor compared to other options in Austin along with clear communication about what needs fixing before work starts. The approach shows up in how they address common issues like worn out components in high demand environments without unnecessary add ons. DIRT Score 3.77 from 118 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“It's a really pretty building with the grounds being clean”
“I want to share my experience with my mother's Samsung refrigerator, model number RS25H511BC. The ice machine in this refrigerator has caused problems since day one. Recently, we discovered that a class action lawsuit regarding this model was settled this year. But we were not informed about it. This ice maker has been malfunctioning for years, and I believe the refrigerator is faulty. It seems the company was aware of the issue since they settled the class action suit. My mother would like her ice machine to be repaired or to receive compensation for it. She is 84 years old, and what she thought would be a durable appliance has proven to be unreliable, especially considering the cost of the refrigerator. Thank you for taking my complaint seriously.”
“I bought an 85" TV that didn't last at all. It broke down less than three years later, and the exact same thing happened to a friend. When I bought it directly from the website, they didn't even offer an extended warranty or a repair process, since the repair costs more than the TV is worth. Then they tell you they can pay for the part, and the company in charge wastes your time trying to fix it. If the part costs more, I don't know why they don't send a replacement TV instead of causing problems and wasting your time and effort. I no longer recommend this brand and I plan to switch to a more responsible company.”
“Poor production rates will drive growth of product sales lower. Pick up the pace and produce more of your DDR5 Ram now!!!”
“The employees that drive here to work are reckless drivers. I’ve been driving by this building for years and every time I see an aggressive driver I think… I bet they pull into Samsung. Today a green dodge challenger passed in a not driving lane and kicked a bunch of rocks in my car. This happened in manor. I was thinking…. I bet they turn into Samsung. That’s exactly where they went. Where I work, if we can’t make it on time we leave the house early like adults. I think leadership should have a meeting and remind people to leave a little early so they don’t be late. It’s not worth it driving aggressively and unsafe. I’m going to get a dash cam and start recording the dumb stuff I see right before yall goto work.”
