“Amazing service. Vanessa is a star. Great communication. Our units are on the roof so a little harder install but they managed it without the extra cost of a crane. They also moved my thermostat for me since the old wiring didn’t have enough wires to power the fan independently which was a must for me. Four other people in my complex have used these guys as well and everyone is happy with their units. “Our AC was getting weak. So we decided to call Texas AC and Heating. Tony and Vanessa came out on a Sunday to check it out and diagnose the issue which was awesome not to mention the diag fee was very reasonable especially for a weekend call. They were very nice and explained to us exactly what they found, a leak in the Evaporator Coil and a stuck Expansion valve. They said that both parts would come as an assembly on with the a new coil and that coil would run $2500 "plus refrigerant." and that they would call us the following day with parts availability. When we got that call we were told they could get a Trane brand Evaporator Coil (our AC is Carrier brand, this will be important later) for the price they quoted "plus refrigerant" or for $3300 "including refrigerant" they could replace the whole Air handler assembly with a Trane brand unit. With the information given to me I made the call to just go ahead and replace the coil for the original quoted price as the blower an controls included in a new air handler are all working fine a the time. What they did not tell me, was that the Trane brand Evaporator coil was not a direct fit replacement into this Carrier air handler. My ”

We couldn't be happier with the work done by Texas A/C and Heating, and the new units! After a poor experience with another vendor who was sent out by our home warranty company, we sought out a more reputable company to do the work we needed. We are so glad we found Marc and his team! Our home was steadily getting hotter after the original company left, and Marc came to our home for a consultation and quickly saw the original company didn't hook things back up correctly. He then had things running correctly and starting to cool the house back down in about 2 minutes. He then very thoroughly and professionally explained our options and answered all of our questions. Our original units were leaking freon, and he topped off the freon so that they would keep running until the new A/C's were available and could be installed. I tend to leave folks who are doing maintenance around the house alone while they do their work. But, impressively, Marc said he preferred for me to stay outside and watch what he was doing, ”
