Evans Heating & Air Conditioning

Evans Heating & Air Conditioning works out of Bakersfield, Texas, and handles HVAC jobs for houses across the area. Texas weather puts real demands on these systems with long hot stretches that run air conditioners hard and occasional cold fronts that switch over to heating units without much warning. Dust and grit from the surrounding land get into equipment fast and cause extra wear on filters and coils. Homeowners here end up calling for help when units stop cooling properly or when bills climb because something is running inefficiently through the season changes.

The company takes on full installations of new heating and cooling setups along with repairs on existing systems that have failed during peak summer or winter use. Technicians handle routine maintenance calls that include cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing worn parts before they lead to bigger breakdowns. They also work on ductwork fixes when airflow drops off in older homes and respond to no-cool emergencies where thermostats fail or compressors quit under the load. Crews show up with the right tools to test electrical connections and gas lines so the job gets done without leaving loose ends that cause callbacks later.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up through the tough local conditions and the crew shows up when promised without dragging out small fixes into all-day affairs. The pricing stays straightforward with no surprise add-ons once the problem is diagnosed, and the communication stays clear from the first call through the final walkthrough. That steady record on speed, quality, and value adds up across the jobs they complete. DIRT Score 4.35 from 47 reviews on Finds.

“I highly recommend you use Evans Heating and Air Conditioning. Tiffany was so helpful when scheduling out my service and their technicians were very thorough when troubleshooting our unit. They found the issue with the leaking coil and repaired it in a matter of days once the part arrived. I had previously worked with 2 other companies who I had trouble with scheduling and rude technicians who refused to go into the attic and further troubleshoot. Which in the end, is where the issue was located. A completely different experience with Evan’s as they not only resolved my issue, but also took the time to explain to me the issue and how it would be resolved. I would use them again in a heart beat.”

“I was looking for an a/c service since my unit hadn't been dealt with in over 2 years. When I called Evans they where very friendly and easy to deal with on the phone and make an appointment. When Derek Martina came out he was easy to talk to and made everything simple to understand. He made it easy to make a decision on what I needed to do and gave optoins on what I could do. The biggest thing was that he made sure I understood how things worked and needed to be fixed. They where very professional and easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I will definitely be using them time and time again.”

“Derek came out and put a new unit in our home. He was great on his pricing and got the unit right in. He is professional and honest. Financing was fast and easy. He takes pictures of your old unit, tells you what's going on and what you need. Then takes pictures of your new unit. We recommend Evans Heating and Air Conditioning to everyone.”

“Just had the guys from EVANS HEATING and AIR CONDITIONING come out to repair my unit that stopped blowing that life saving elixar Monday night around 10:00 p.m. I spent all Tuesday morning reading reviews and calling around trying to find a reputible company to repair my AC unit. Thank God I found EVANS , I spoke with Tiffany who was super polite and professional and to my suprise was able to schedule an appointment for this morning! That was amazing everyone else who i was able to get a hold of stated a week or two before they could come out. I explained to Tiffany I was heat sensitive because of medications I take and health issues and she went out of her way to find me an opening....thank you so much Tiffany. Derek and his partner arrived on scheduled and were so friendly and took the time ask what the issues were with my AC unit and listened to what i gad to say. Derek explained the steps they were going to take to diagnose the problems and do an overall inspection of the unit. They quickly found the issue (a burnt out capacitor) and after a thorough cleaning ( a service which I paid another company supposedly to do last summer, which they obviously didn't do) but anyways in less that 45 minutes the unit was fixed and cooling the house again. Thanks guys for your great service! So glad i called EVANS HEATING and AC, great company that provides quality service.”
