“I called Air Comfort around 9am. Had a technician at my home within 2 hours. I explained to Josh, the service tech, the issues I was having. He checked the unit and also pointed out that my vent out the roof wasn't attached which is a major issue. He repaired everything and made sure it was perfect before leaving. I highly recommend Air Comfort. I've used them for years and have always been satisfied with the service. I had to take the time to write a review today because the issue Josh found was a huge safety concern. “BEWARE NOT GOOD 2020 They Installed attic HVAC unit so water did no drain properly and didn't realize the problem for two years when vents started mildewing. I had to level it myself to drain and was shocked to see how unlevel the drain pan was. They did not install new thermostat as agreed and then wanted to charge me $900 for a 4 foot wire and $35 thermostat after install. They came out for the biannual HVAC inspection yesterday 6-25-24 and said I was 1 pound down on coolant. I agreed to have it filled for $55 per pound. Once finished the Tech told me he only had a half pound in his tank. So he had another Tech bring out another bottle! He used half pound from that bottle to top off my unit. He said he had to charge me $55 for the half pound in the first bottle and another $55 for the half pound of the other bottle. So it somehow cost me $118f or 1 pound of coolant on top of the $90 inspection.!!!? Not good business and he said that it is the owners policy on tanks. I can't believe it's my fault their bottles are empty and they don't carry spares! Finally, Instead of backing out of my driveway he backed the van into my front yard grass to do a three point turnaround to pull forward!!! I back out everyday...What the heck. Last year the tech they sent had such a hangover he couldn't have a conversation with me so I didn't let him in my home and they sent someone else. I already paid for my fall inspection but I am going to cancel it because I just don't want to deal with this company anymore! Who knows what they're going to do but it will not be business with me anymore? Please stay away from this company!”

“We had the misfortune of our outdoor unit going out during this heat wave. When the techs came to install the new one they could not have been nicer or more professional. Unfortunately I didn’t get both men’s names, but Gabe and his colleague worked hard to get us up and running before we had to endure another night of misery. Gabe spent some time with us going over pros and cons of various thermostats that we had questions about and was extremely cordial, even though I’m sure he was more than ready to head home and begin his evening.”
