About

B-Air Texas Comfort Llc works out of Atascosa County in Texas handling HVAC jobs for homes across the area. They take on heating and cooling work that includes fixing systems put in the wrong way from the start and putting in new equipment when the old one fails to perform. The crew serves spots like Austin, Bee Cave and Lakeway where summer heat puts real strain on units. Adam Boone brings years spent at bigger outfits in the region which gives him the know how to sort out tricky installs on different brands without tearing everything apart. Homeowners call them when a mini split never ran right or when a new AC stops cooling months after it went in.

Adam shows up for service calls on ductless heating and AC units that replace failed ones and he sorts out the wiring and placement even when the spot is tight. He fixed an A/C that quit cooling six months after install by getting it running again the next day under warranty in just a couple hours. Another time he checked the whole unit plus the breaker box and wrapped the job fast after calling ahead to say when he would arrive. The team handles maintenance and full replacements too working on systems that big companies used to service before. They show up on time and get the job done without extra trips back.

Customers give top marks every time for how fast the crew responds to calls and how clean the work turns out on both repairs and new installs. Folks note the fair prices that stay steady even on warranty fixes and the clear talk from the tech who explains what broke and what he did to fix it. Adam stands out for showing up ready and finishing without dragging things out which keeps homes cool when the weather turns rough. DIRT Score 5.0 from 45 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Diagnosis of improperly installed mini split A/C heating system that never worked. Then I had Adam come install a new ductless heating & AC unit where the existing one was installed, which is challenging to say the least, since I chose a different manufacturer. He made it work without punching more wholes. Awesome! Best price around. Extremely knowledgeable. Amazing! Outstanding service! Highly recommend!

A/C wasn’t cooling 6 months after installation. Adam was on-site the very next day and had it fixed in a couple of hours…under the warranty, too. Great company and very responsive.

Adam was great he called one hour before arriving and introduced himself when he arrived on time. He checked the ac unit, checked the breaker box and was done very quick great job.

Adam Boone is 100% the guy you want for service, maintenance or replacement of your HVAC system in Austin, Bee Cave, Lakeway, etc. There are very few really smart and intelligent, personable and exceptionally capable folks in this business. Adam worked for years for really big companies in the area and a few years ago he opened his own company. He really understands the systems, gives great advice, offers options. I fully recommend and suggest you select his services over all others I've used on two properties in Lakeway for years. We bought a 12 year old townhouse with a complicated and difficult HVAC system in the incredibly hot attic with a Rube Goldberg design with two electronically operated baffles combined with a third mechanically operated baffle in a complication designed by the ever cheap builder (even though this is a Toll Brothers condo) to try to make a single 4-Ton system operate to heat and cool two separate levels of the home through a ridiculous amount of duct work literally filling a lot of the attic space. During the "warranty period" by American Home Shield (do not EVER buy one of these ridiculous home or car or RV warranties, they are complete garbage) purchased by the seller for us at closing, I went through repeated visits from totally incompetent technicians. They kept charging me or trying to charge me another $89 fee when they never fixed the problems. Our guests in the house were roasting with broken AC system. So, then I hired a company on my own, even with another AHS appointment coming and they recharged the system with added refrigerant for $600 which turned out to be a total waste. I reached out to B-Co and Adam came. He discovered what nobody else did that the condenser drain (that travels probably a hundred feet through who knows what parts of the house and foundation was blocked somewhere near the end. So it would run fine for a while and when the drain backfilled it would shut off. Our guest's kids were trying to sleep in 80+ degree bedrooms with it constantly cycling off. It took Adam a long time, but he eventually was able to dislodge the blockage which "fixed" the system for about a week. Well, it turns out the seller knew they were about to have to buy an AC system so they sold the house. Sure enough, the outside condenser ruptured and all that new and old coolant was gone. Possibly caused by the idiotic tech who was working next door and our guests had him look at our system and he simply overcharged the system. No real diagnosis, just breaking a weak system. The AHS warranty people were only going to replace the condenser and inside coil and recharge the system with unknown quality of product and with clearly incompetent technicians. It became very obvious when the "tier 1" tech had to keep calling a "tier 2" and ultimately a manager above both had to get involved. After dozens of calls to offshore AHC call centers my frustration was overwhelming, all the while our guests were roasting. Ultimately I got $1,288 from AHS long after I'd paid Adam $5,600 for a complete new Carrier 4-Ton HVAC system. He installed it in a 140+ degree attic, he had to disassemble the unit to get it through the narrow attic pull-down stair. He was able to figure out why the baffle system wasn't working, incorrect wiring and he rewired it. His work was beyond perfect. The speed with which he got here and got this done, on a Saturday, was amazing. He did it so fast he had to then come back to install a LPG propane burner instead of the standard Natural Gas burner, but he didn't want my guests to live one more day without AC. Your pricing will be fair, the work will be prioritized and completed quickly. He will gladly help educate you if you like, or for most people, not and you'll just know you are getting the best service and pricing possible.

Adam is hands down the best HVAC person I have found in Austin. He consistently goes out of his way to solve problems and his customer service is second to none. I would give 10 ⭐️ Stars if I could.
