Indoor Weather Heating Air & Refrigeration Inc

Indoor Weather Heating Air & Refrigeration Inc works out of Blue Jay, Texas, where they focus on HVAC systems for homes and small commercial spots. The company handles heating, cooling, and refrigeration needs in an area that sees long hot stretches through summer and occasional cold snaps in winter. Local conditions put heavy demands on air conditioning units, with dust and humidity adding wear that leads to frequent service calls. They cover standard HVAC tasks without any extras or fancy add-ons, sticking to what keeps systems running through Texas weather swings that homeowners deal with every year.

Their work includes installing new units when old ones fail, repairing breakdowns like compressor issues or refrigerant leaks, and routine maintenance to prevent problems before they hit during peak heat. In Blue Jay, crews often respond to calls about units struggling under constant load from high temperatures, fixing duct problems or thermostat faults that show up in older homes. They also service refrigeration equipment for local spots that need reliable cooling. Homeowners face common troubles such as clogged filters from area dust or worn parts after years of nonstop summer use, and the company addresses those directly with straightforward repairs that get things back online fast.

Customers give steady marks for quick arrival times even on busy days, solid fixes that hold up, reasonable rates that match the job scope, and clear updates throughout the process. This pattern of reliable performance in a demanding climate builds the kind of track record that stands out. DIRT Score 4.76 from 202 reviews on Finds.

“We recently had our heating system replaced at our home in Lake Arrowhead, and I can’t say enough good things about Alex and the team at Indoor Weather. Like most homeowners, we collected multiple quotes before making our decision. Indoor Weather wasn’t just competitively priced—they were the company we trusted the most. Alex spent a tremendous amount of time answering our questions about installing a Navien system along with Mitsubishi mini splits, and we never once felt pressured. Every recommendation was thoughtful and explained in a way that helped us make an informed decision. One thing we really appreciated was how much we learned throughout the process. Before making such a large investment, we did our own research, and Alex encouraged it. We learned that mountain homes present unique challenges because of our altitude, and not every heating system is designed to perform reliably in those conditions. Understanding why Indoor Weather recommends the equipment they do—and seeing that our own research supported those recommendations—gave us tremendous confidence that we were making the right long-term decision. (Navien) The installation was outstanding. The crew was professional, respectful of our home, communicated well, and completed everything exactly as promised. Finding honest contractors who genuinely care about doing what’s right for the customer isn’t always easy. Alex and the Indoor Weather team earned our trust with their knowledge, integrity, fair pricing, and willingness to educate us rather than simply sell us something. If you own a home on the mountain, I would absolutely recommend giving them a call”

“Alex and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and offer very fair pricing. I recently purchased a new Navien hydro-furnace, as well as their tankless water heater. Now I enjoy endless hot water while doing multiple tasks and hosting company. The hydro-furnace is especially impressive. You can really let it rip without feeling dried out. Could not be happier with my experience!”

“The skilled and extremely capable crew at Indoor Weather Heating & Air replaced the old and damaged ductwork at my vacation cabin in Blue Jay in 2025, and I was DELIGHTED with the job they did! While researching/shopping for a local HVAC company, I kept hearing favorable reports about Indoor Weather, including about Kory Griggs (in fact, a competing company even mentioned that Kory and his team were excellent). So, I felt comfortable from the start that Indoor Weather was a reputable and reliable company to work with. I was pleasantly surprised that Kory was willing and available to visit my cabin and assess what was needed soon after I reached out to him; and I also really appreciated that he provided cost estimates for multiple options (i.e., using different types of duct material). I knew I was in great hands when the entire crew -- including Kory, Carlos, and Alex -- arrived to thoroughly scope out and start the job. Carlos and Alex (see photo) took it from there and I was impressed with and grateful for their professionalism, skill, efficiency, and courtesy. I’m someone who asks a lot of questions, and they answered each and every one clearly and patiently. I’m so glad I chose Indoor Weather to do my duct-replacement job, and I plan to use them in the future for all my HVAC service needs. I highly recommend Indoor Weather for anyone in need of HVAC services!”

“The team at Indoor Weather is fantastic…they do exactly what they say they are going to do and at a great price. We have relied on them for six years now and every time it is a great experience. They are our #1 pick for all our HVAC needs.”

“Indoor Weather HVAC was great! I highly recommend them. They replaced my tankless water heater with a Combi Boiler so I now have hot water and my radiant floor heating system is working again!”
