Johnson Glenn Cooling & Heating Inc

Johnson Glenn Cooling & Heating Inc runs as a straight HVAC outfit based in Blythe, Texas. They take on the cooling and heating work that keeps houses livable in this stretch of the state where the sun hammers down hard for months on end. Local homeowners count on them for everything from routine checks to full system swaps because the dry heat and occasional cold snaps wear out equipment fast. The crew stays focused on residential jobs right in Blythe and nearby spots, showing up with the tools and know-how to handle units that have to fight extreme temperatures day after day without extra talk or delays.

They handle standard HVAC tasks like installing new air conditioners, repairing compressors that quit during peak summer, recharging refrigerant lines, cleaning out clogged ducts full of dust from the area, and tuning up furnaces ahead of winter. In Blythe the work often means dealing with systems pushed to the limit by constant heat, so they check coils, replace worn parts, and make sure airflow stays steady through older homes that get plenty of sand and grit. Homeowners call them when units short-cycle or blow warm air, and the crew works to get things back online without dragging out the job or leaving parts scattered around the property.

The 3.25 score lines up with mixed but workable results on jobs where speed and quality show up steady enough to finish most calls, though price complaints pop up when parts run high and communication can lag on follow-ups. Folks in Blythe note the crew gets the basics done in rough weather without cutting corners on the fix itself, which helps in a place where AC failure hits fast. “They advertise 24 hour emergency service. We had a A/C go out on a renter of ours and it was like 100 degrees out. I called 4 times and never even got a courtesy call back telling me they wouldn't make it even tho I requested that info each time I called. I finally called the next morning to the office. No apology for not returning my call just a can't help you we are booked. Very rude. Wouldn't call them again if they were the only repair service left on this side of the world. Not a professional, responsible company to deal with during an emergency, so don't waste your time and effort calling them.”

“@ 117º F outside, and perhaps 125-130 in the attic, 20 minutes after I called, Ed went up and fixed our AC in less than 30 minutes. Capacitor was out. Professional all the way, from the time you call them until the job is completed. We should be proud to have these kind of caring, kind and professionals helping us in the middle of the desert heat.”

“I could not be more grateful to this business, their team and the whole family. They are always there for our desert community. Our A/C has been out since Saturday and it's the middle of summer. Our home warranty was doing the ol song and dance trying to find a contractor. Called Johnson Refrigeration this morning and within an hour they diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Years of experience and a dedication to helping the people of our little town definitely shines through. Thank you again for all your help.”

“Difficult to reasonably expect same-day service when it is 112 outside. Johnson came through and did the fix in 2.5 hours after arriving. Highly recommend.”
