About
73 Comfort runs an HVAC operation based right in Houston, Texas. They focus on air conditioning and heating systems for houses across the city and surrounding spots. Houston weather puts heavy demands on cooling equipment with long stretches of heat and heavy humidity that can wear out units fast. Homeowners here often deal with failing compressors or poor airflow during peak summer, so the crew steps in for straightforward fixes and installs that match the local conditions without overcomplicating things. The outfit stays ready for the constant strain that comes from months of nonstop use in this climate.
They handle AC installation and replacement when old systems give out, along with routine maintenance and tune-ups to catch issues before they leave a house sweltering. Repair calls cover everything from thermostat problems to full ductwork adjustments and dehumidifier setups that cut down on moisture buildup common in this climate. Technicians test systems for efficiency, install filtration units to improve air quality, and balance ventilation so rooms stay even. Work gets done by showing up on time, explaining what needs fixing in plain terms, and getting the job wrapped without dragging it out across multiple visits. Houston homes see plenty of these exact problems every summer, and the crew knows how to address them on the first try.
Customers give them top marks for showing up quick when units break in the worst heat, delivering clean work that holds up, and keeping costs reasonable on both small repairs and bigger installs. The volume of feedback points to steady communication and results that match what was promised every time. Reviews highlight reliable arrivals, solid fixes on airflow and moisture control, and fair pricing that does not surprise anyone after the fact. DIRT Score 5.0 from 224 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We had our wedding at Camp Comfort in March and rented out the whole camp. We had the best time! Sylvia and Pete were so accommodating and helped make our special day so perfect. The setting was so fun - it felt like a summer camp for adults for us for the weekend. Being able to use the pool at the Meyer was perfect. All of our guests commented how cute/vibey the rooms were. Our beds were super comfortable too. Highly recommend!”
“We just wrapped up my sister’s wedding weekend and I can’t say enough good things about Camp Comfort and The Meyer Hotel. We used both properties throughout the weekend, and they truly helped make everything feel special and seamless. Since my sister didn’t have a wedding coordinator, my sisters and I ended up doing a lot of the setup ourselves—but Pete, the property manager, absolutely went above and beyond. He jumped in to help us move things, problem-solve, and make sure every detail was just right. He did so much that he didn’t have to, and it made a huge difference in keeping the weekend stress manageable. The rooms were adorable—perfectly “western chic” with so much charm. I stayed with my toddler, and she loved it just as much as I did, which says a lot. It felt cozy, welcoming, and really unique compared to your typical hotel stay. If you’re planning a wedding weekend, group stay, or just a getaway, I would highly recommend both Camp Comfort and The Meyer Hotel. The combination of beautiful spaces and genuinely helpful staff made for such a memorable experience.”
“We had a wonderful day at camp comfort… The service was great. The communication was great and the facility was awesome! It was close to some wonderful restaurants that we recommend… Comfort, pizza and two hands burger were both amazing! Around was super clean, and the bed was so comfortable like so many other people said in their reviews! We will definitely be back!”
“Woo for Camp Outpost! Absolutely recommend. Great grounds, well designed rooms, comfy bed, great communication. 4/5 stars simply because we didn't have any hot water and didn't get to enjoy a hot shower/the jet tub.”
“My fiance (now wife) and I were looking for a place to get married that was quiet, could accommodate family and friends, had both indoor and outdoor space, a stage and had a laidback Hill country feel at a price we could afford- we live in Austin. Camp Comfort provided all of that plus accessibility to the management team (Sylvia & Pete) who were all prompt and helpful in their communication. If we had a need, they were there to meet it quickly. We were there from Thursday through the weekend in April- so there was some weather. They were flexible and understanding when things needed to shift whether that was last minute tent rentals or shifting from outside to inside. I could not recommend this place highly enough if you want a slow weekend or if you want to host a beautiful, quaint outdoor wedding.”
