“For my review, please note I am a full time licensed real estate broker and have been for 18 years. This is my experience. Don’t waste your time. I had a Trane ductless system put into my house for my garage and a climate controlled area in my attic. 2.5 years after installation we were having several issues. I called out Caliente and they sent one person who looked it over and said it was fine. I was still having issues so I ended up taking the system apart myself to find out that it was improperly installed in the ceiling cavity and it was leaking condensation all over the drywall. We end up having a mold issue and finding out that the drain lines to both units were installed improperly. I called Caliente again with pictures and they sent someone else out and they obviously did not know what they were doing. After fumbling around he left and I called back two days later to find out that that employee had been fired. I ended up calling another AC service, NorthEast air-conditioning, and they sent someone out who diagnose the problem immediately and ended up taking the entire system apart and also was able to have all new parts ordered for the interior ceiling mounted unit since it was covered in mold and was damaged. All of this was covered under warranty and I just had to pay for labor. Still to this day Caliente has not called me back to try and resolve the issue and I’m out $650 for the labor of another hvac company and I ended up having to fix the drain lines myself. I would not do business with this company.”

“We have used Caliente for a number of years for our plumbing service. Jacob came out today to flush our tankless water heaters and do an annual full house plumbing inspection. He was very professional and thorough. He made sure and showed us what he saw with any cameras and made recommendations. We really appreciated that he wasn’t high pressure and just told us what he’d recommend. He was very polite and respectful. We hope to have him out again if we need service. He did a great job. “Caliente is great! They are always prompt and do great work for an affordable price. You can definitely tell they are a family run/oriented business. Over the years they done a lot of work at my house. They installed a tankless water heater and rerouted a hot-water line to our upstairs bathroom after a leak was found in the pipe. They also service our AC unit. Highly recommend them for any work you need done. The technician Jesse came out to my house and did a great job getting my AC unit back to running properly. He was very respectful and got the job done correctly.”

“Mr. James (Harry) - Walked through, spent 30-45 minutes evaluating my home and explaining - filter was very dirty, halo needed a new cel, and showed in the camera that ducts really needed cleaning; then showed the pricing and cost of membership and discounts provided. I felt at ease with the evaluation and I agreed with his assessment. I would definitely recommend this man for assessing your home - he showed what was wrong, how his company could help, no pushy sales. Price seems high, even with all the discounts and memberships, and as a consumer, I will need to compare with other companies, but I do not attribute to this Mr. James or Caliente, I fear that cleaning ducts is no longer a $500 job for anyone, anymore.
