About
Next Service operates as an HVAC provider based in Maverick County, Texas, with roots in Eagle Pass since 2011. They focus on air conditioning and heating work across the region, including nearby spots like Del Rio and Uvalde in the surrounding counties. As a local outfit familiar with South Texas conditions, they handle the demands of intense summer heat and occasional winter cold that hit homes and businesses hard in this area. Their licensed technicians cover both residential and commercial properties, responding to the climate realities that make reliable cooling and heating essential year round for folks living there.
They perform AC repair and maintenance on major brands, along with full installations of high-efficiency systems and mini-split setups to manage the Eagle Pass heat. Furnace repair and heat pump services form another core part of their work, including emergency fixes when systems fail during temperature swings. Water heating and commercial HVAC jobs round out what they take on, with technicians addressing issues like dirty motors or failed components through direct troubleshooting and part replacements. Customers have noted techs like Azael handling complex fixes on equipment after multiple attempts with parts, while others mention arrivals slightly past scheduled windows for refrigerator or oven-related calls that tie into broader system checks.
Homeowners in the area consistently point to solid response speed when issues arise with their units, which helps keep things running amid the local weather patterns. Quality of the actual repairs and clear communication during jobs also stand out in feedback, even when pricing draws mixed comments. This combination of timely arrivals and practical fixes on everything from rattling components to full system overhauls builds their standing with repeat needs in Maverick County. What Customers Say
“My washing machine computer failed. When part was ordered sent and would not work and were returned 3 or 4 times. Azael was then notified that the computer for my machine had been updated and that the Inverter also needed to be replaced which increase the cost $225 and additional labor. The install went smoothy and the wash ran perfectly. The initial quote was not changed for all the additional time spent trying to make the improper parts being sent by GE which were many during 3 or 4 days.”
“EDIT: 2.6.2026 called the owner about this response to my review and told him/reminded him that the oven was repaired in March 2025 and it IS BROKEN! The exact repair he did, with NON OEM PARTS! He hung up on me. Not accountable. At all! Came to fix our oven March 2025 and recommended and did a repair that actually did not need to be done (igniter) only to be fixed (a thermostat valve) so incurred two major expenses when only one was the root cause. This was roughly $2500. We spent about another $5000 with next service on a separate refrigerator repair And we were told it would last about another 10 years… This was a compressor, evaporator, dryer, basically all the mechanicals. When I called today 11 months after the repair I was not met with zero accountability And positioning towards making more money on the exact same thing he didn’t repair to last very long. I was met with excuses. The oven is doing the exact same thing (again) and the refrigerator is doing the exact same thing it did before he showed up 18 months ago. He then declined to come look at his work and declined to come look at repairing it. My next call is….a skilled technician who stands behind their work.”
“This was our first and last experience using Next Services. Our service window was between 12-2, they showed up a bit after 2, no problem, and they did call us, so there's a plus and it was appreciated. They quickly came in and went to work, blew a bunch of stuff out of the back of the refrigerator (we had an icemaker problem) and while I heard a vacuum cleaner come on there was literally no evidence that anything was cleaned up. There were balls of 'stuff' that was blown out of the back of our refrigerator left all over the kitchen floor, under the table that they moved but did not move back into place. These fuzz balls were not in close proximity to the refrigerator, it was clearly about 3-5 feet in all directions in our kitchen. We were charged over $200, parts figure did not add up on the invoice. $95 service charge and $49 in parts does not equal over $200. Before presenting us our invoice we asked if they could tell us if the second refrigerator (we have had it since 2006) would possibly have an ice-maker replacement but were told they didn't have time to look at that. We did not ask for a diagnostic, heck, we didn't even ask them to touch it, the fridge is so old there is nothing digital on it. This was literally a 10 foot walk, freezer door to open and a peek as to whether or not our relic of a beverage icemaker had a chance at replacement. All we asked is if they could look to see if the ice-maker was replaceable. Serviceman was condescending in his manner. With us both being in the service industry and understanding customer service, how to retain repeat business, grow new business and actually making an invoice legible we find this kind of service overall deplorable. They had a great shot with us for continued business, they came in, got to work and ultimately fixed the issue (it was a reset). For that, they deserve stars, but the rest resonated with us and likewise left a bad taste in our mouth to spend our money moving forward with these folks. We are proud supporters of local business, but not this one, no thanks!”
“I can't believe the appalling service we received! The technician displayed an astonishing level of rudeness and an utter disregard for delivering any semblance of quality. We called them to fix our rattling and immobile fridge, which we suspected was due to a dirty motor caused by a previous repair of a slab leak causing a dusty house. What a joke! The so-called technician merely glanced at the fridge, didn't bother lifting a finger to investigate further, and had the audacity to declare that nothing was wrong. To add insult to injury, they had the nerve to charge us a ridiculous $95 for their non-existent service. We opened it ourselves after he left and does that look like "nothing wrong" to anyone? I couldn't stomach the techs arrogance, so I called to complain, hoping they'd take feedback. But guess what? Their response was utterly indifferent, as if they couldn't care less. "Don't care, send us an email," they said, brushing us off and hanging up on me. This has been, hands down, the worst service experience we've ever encountered. It's beyond infuriating to be treated with such disdain and incompetence. Let's just say: WORST SERVICE EVER”
“I have used Next Service out of Boerne, Texas twice for appliance repair and have been exceptionally pleased with them. The first time to repair my washing machine and most recently my dryer. I have been amazed at how quickly they have been able to put me on their schedule- literally within a day or two of calling. My dryer required a part they didn’t have but they were able to obtain it and had me up and running the following day. If you are looking for speedy repair with knowledgeable, friendly and professional repairmen you may want to give them a try. I highly recommend Next Service!”
