“They have been very professional with their service on our family condo and worked hard to get our unit working so we could enjoy it for this weekend. Chris and his staff have been kind and professional. Please don’t pay attention to some of the bad reviews, it appears that some other AC company in town is somehow linking to Contract Services google listing, and being a former business owner that relied on our reviews, figured out by doing a google search of the other company and it pulls this one up. Top notch company with very long standing repuatation on South Padre Island.”

“Called regarding an ac unit that just went out. Strong had looked at the same unit 2 months ago and fixed a drain problem for us. At that time he recommended replacing the entire ac unit, however we could not afford it. Just called him back and he said rudely, "do you remember what I said when I saw it before?" I said yes, he said, " I can't help you, find somebody else" and hung up on me. What kind of a business owner does that? By far the rudest most unprofessional business owner I've ever dealt with. Use this company at your own risk. DO NOT recommend.”

“Do not use this company. I contacted them because my parents Warren Kininmonth and Kaye Kininmonth had been using them for years. They just passed away and I inherited the house. They came out on March 2023 to fix a sensor. The guy said the owner would contact me about replacing the air filter. I was told it would cost $500. I have called repeatedly and no one has come to my house. I just found out where the air filter is located and bought an OEM filter for $50 on Amazon. I am reading all the other reviews about this company. I contacted Chris from the company. I can see why they have bad reviews.”

“I have never had such a horrible experience with a repair person. When he quoted and I was asking questions he told me to do it his way or to find someone else. I had used him before so I thought it was just a bad moment. I had to leave while they were doing the repair. I then kept texting him to send me the invoice. Twice he said he was working on it. Then at 9pm he texts demanding his check. I sent my son to give him his check at his home and he yelled and cussed at my boy for no reason. I can only suspect he is either really sick, or he was upset because he could not talk me into installing a 3 ton unit in an 800 sq feet condo. Please stay away from this individual if you are looking for a decent person to work on your ac.”

“I’ve been a loyal Strong AC customer for three years, and what I recently got from the owner was straight-up unprofessional and hostile. He sent me a series of aggressive, offensive messages loaded with personal insults, slurs, and even threats. He crossed every boundary — even making crude comments about my wife — and then refused normal payment methods just to be difficult. Based on what I personally experienced, I wouldn’t let Strong AC anywhere near my home again. The disrespect, the hostility, the whole vibe was completely out of line. Nobody deserves to deal with that from any business.”
