About

JVC Services works out of Wharton County, Texas on HVAC systems for homes and small commercial spots. The crew focuses on air conditioning, heating, refrigeration and the electrical side that keeps everything running. Techs come through solid local training programs that cover equipment install, regular upkeep, diagnosis and fixes for the tough Texas climate. They handle gas brazing, soldering, circuit work, motor checks and conduit runs using both hands-on methods and computer tools to spot problems before they get worse. Homeowners in the county deal with heavy summer loads and occasional winter cold snaps that put real stress on units.

Their day to day includes putting in new systems, swapping out old compressors or coils, running electrical upgrades for added load and troubleshooting noisy motors or weak airflow. Crews show up with the right wire sizes and bending tools to keep installs clean and up to code. They test circuits on site and make adjustments for humidity that builds up fast in this part of the state. Jobs often mix refrigeration lines with electrical panels so one tech can handle both without extra trips. That approach cuts down on callbacks when a unit quits during a heat wave.

Customers keep coming back because the work holds up under real use and the crew stays in touch about timelines and costs. Reviews point to solid speed on repairs, clean finishes that last and fair pricing without surprise add-ons. Communication stays straightforward from the first call through final test. What Customers Say

We hired Joseph and JVC Construction & Remodeling after going through a pretty extensive contractor search. We were converting an existing bedroom into a master bathroom, so we knew we wanted to hire the right person for a complex job. Joseph won our business and this review for 3 primary reasons. 1. Patience. He worked with us for months as we finalized the design and scope of work. He was integral in helping us understand the costs, where we can and where we should not cut corners, and even brought his tradesman out to inspect a few things prior to quoting to make sure he had an accurate number. 2. Communication. Joseph was great at answering questions, setting expectations, and keeping us updated throughout the process. You could tell his sub contractors enjoyed working for him and wouldn't hesitate to come back and fix any issues. 3. Experience. Rather than just doing what we told his team to do, Joseph would often give feedback as the project went along that made a wold of difference in the final results. Things like the grout color or trim type seem minor, but it's the small things that made a huge impact. Joseph was great at brainstorming and being a sounding board. He wasn't the type to just finish the project as quickly as he could to move onto the next project. Overall, if you're looking for a great general contractor for work that is going to last and add value to your house, I would 100% recommend JVC.

Would highly recommend JVC, we had a new media room built in our home via existing attic space and his incredible team worked quickly and diligently to get the job done, while also accommodating some change orders along the way per our request. Overall great experience with Joseph and very high quality work.

We’ve been working with JVC Construction on several projects in Austin, and it’s been an absolute pleasure. Their team is professional, reliable, and really knows their craft. They communicate effectively, stay on top of deadlines, and are always open to ideas, which makes collaborating with them so easy and honestly so much fun. Whether it’s the big-picture vision or the finer details, JVC Construction consistently delivers quality work. We’re excited to keep collaborating and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable construction partner in Austin.

I recently worked with JVC Construction on a partial bathroom remodel, which included replacing the bathtub and shower and updating the paint. They were very helpful not only in repairing damage from a previous leak but also in providing valuable ideas for updating the space. After demolition revealed that our old tub and shower weren't utilizing the space effectively, the team was able to pivot and enlarge my new shower beyond the original plan, all while keeping costs manageable—a very pleasant surprise! The team at JVC demonstrates great attention to detail and a commitment to optimal results. While this meant the project took a bit longer than planned to ensure everything was just right, we didn’t mind at all. Communication was clear and timely, and they were always responsive to my concerns. I highly recommend Joseph and his team.

JVC is exceptionally professional and detail-oriented. Their team is top-tier—responsive, reliable, and a pleasure to collaborate with. We always enjoy working together and value the partnership.
