Shalom Heating & Air

Shalom Heating & Air runs their HVAC operation out of Buena Park, Texas. They have handled heating and cooling work in the area since 2000, focusing on both homes and commercial buildings. The crew takes on the full range of HVAC needs that come up in this part of Texas, where summer heat puts heavy demands on air conditioning units and winter nights can still require solid heating systems. Homeowners and businesses around Buena Park rely on them for straightforward repair, replacement, and upkeep that keeps equipment running through the swings in weather without constant breakdowns.

In Buena Park the summers hit hard enough that air conditioners often need fast attention when coils freeze or blowers fail, while ductwork leaks can drive up bills and leave rooms uneven. Shalom covers heating systems, full air conditioning installs and fixes, indoor air quality work like filtration upgrades, duct sealing and cleaning, plus commercial HVAC jobs on larger setups. Their approach stays practical, showing up with the right parts and tools to diagnose issues on site rather than pushing unnecessary replacements. Local conditions mean they deal with dust and humidity that wear down equipment faster, so regular maintenance calls help prevent the usual emergency breakdowns during peak heat.

Customers keep coming back because the work shows up on time, holds up after the visit, and gets explained clearly without extra charges tacked on. Reviews point to solid quality on repairs that last, fair pricing that matches the job size, and communication that keeps owners in the loop from the first call through completion. That record adds up across plenty of jobs in the area. DIRT Score 4.73 from 151 reviews on Finds.

“I have been so lucky to work with such honest and fair individuals. I have worked with Shalom Air air-conditioning for quite some time now and they have never ever let me down. They are so accommodating, genuinely professional, and I felt very safe with this company, knowing that I was not getting gouged by the price. I received a quote from another vendor and they happily took that quote and laid everything out for me to let me know that I was not getting an affair quote. I would highly recommend this company. The owner Jose in Orlando were the best. Two people I could ever work with. I’m so genuinely happy with their services.”

“As a property manager, I was so pleased with Shalom Heating and Air when they serviced the AC for one of my properties in Fullerton. The office responded quickly and via both phone call and text message. They arrived on time and resolved the issue same day. They even followed up after the service call. I couldnt be more pleased and they deserve a 5 star review for their great customer service. #WestcliffYvonne #WestcliffPropertiesCA”

“Shalom Heating & Air = AWESOME ACROSS THE BOARD! They installed a new heat/AC system in our home and we are blown away by how great the experience was. Truly professional, patient, friendly - these folks are just great at what they do! I recommend them highly. 5 stars!”

“Our 20-plus-year-old air-conditioner unit, which we've been nursing along for years, went out on a Sunday. I called Shalom that afternoon and received a same-day text that a tech would be out the next morning. He gave us a repair option—this time, a pretty serious repair for such an old unit—and a very reasonable quote for a new unit. The thing was, we needed it installed by that Wednesday. "We'll make it happen," he said, and sure enough, their crew was here first thing Wednesday morning; had it installed by day's end. We now have a 16-SEER unit that keeps us cool and is energy efficient. We're very satisfied customers, have used Shalom for years for previous repairs, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing A/C repair or installation. They stand by their work, prioritize customer satisfaction, and run an extremely professional operation.”

“Orlando from Shalom HVAC was excellent from start to finish. After we moved into our new home, he came out and did a thorough assessment of our HVAC system, which had several issues: asbestos insulation, leaky and crushed ducts, an undersized 2.5-ton condenser, and an aging furnace. He clearly explained what was going on and laid out multiple options, including just replacing the ductwork or doing a full system install. What stood out was how honest and non-pushy he was. He took the time to educate me and let me make the decision without any pressure. I initially leaned toward just replacing the ducts, but ultimately chose a full system replacement for long-term reliability and peace of mind. Orlando and his crew worked hard and were very professional throughout the install. They walked me through the new system, explained each component, answered all my questions, and made sure everything was running properly end to end. They also corrected issues with the previous condensate line, handled permits, and were flexible with financing options. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend Orlando and Shalom HVAC.”
