About
Vmax Air Inc operates as a straightforward HVAC outfit right out of Burbank, TX. They stick to the core work of keeping air systems running in both houses and commercial buildings around the area. The crew handles the kind of equipment that fights Texas heat day in and day out, from basic repairs to full installs when old units finally give out. No fancy extras or side promises, just the daily grind of making sure folks have cool air when the temperature spikes and heat when winter dips hit the region. Homeowners and business owners in Burbank know the drill with local weather patterns that punish weak systems fast.
In practice this means showing up for installation jobs on new builds or replacements in existing homes where ducts need rerouting or units swapped for better performance against constant summer loads. Repair calls cover the usual breakdowns like compressor failures or thermostat glitches that leave people sweating through the night. They also manage commercial setups for shops and offices that require steady airflow without constant downtime. Local conditions in Texas push plenty of repeat maintenance to clear dust buildup and check refrigerant levels before peak seasons hit. Crews move between residential calls in neighborhoods and bigger jobs at storefronts, focusing on getting the job done right the first time so systems last through the worst heat waves.
Customers keep coming back because the work shows up on time, holds up without callbacks, and stays priced without surprises. Speed on emergency fixes during summer spikes stands out along with clear talk about what needs fixing and what it will cost. Quality shows in systems that run quiet and efficient after the visit while price complaints stay low compared to others in the same spots. Communication stays direct so homeowners know exactly when the tech arrives and what got completed. DIRT Score 4.83 from 620 reviews on Finds.

“After almost 18 months and 5 quotes we finally pulled the trigger. AirMaxx! The quotes ranged from $10k to almost $40k. We came up with a plan of what was needed and the scope of work. I couldn’t pass up the financing option from a 3 year no interest to a 5 year low interest. The team was great once they arrived. They explained to us what they will be doing on day one and what will happen on day two. The project went great and I would definitely hire them again! No issues no problems. Keep in mind this was a house built in the late 50’s Updated April 27: (Read last paragraph) After almost 18 months and 5 quotes we finally pulled the trigger. AirMaxx! And then, naturally, being quoted $12k to replace a single mini split really helped put things into perspective. Fool me once, right? I'll go ahead and pass on that quote. Highly would not recommend working with Victor after his call and hanging up on me. I made sure to let the office know that I do not want him back on my property... in short they never fixed the vent after waiting for the call all morning on March 26th. (More on Y E L P)”
“I chose Air Max because of past Yelp Reviews that were largely positive and also because of their affiliation with Lowe’s who offered interest free financing for two years. However, the quality of work was somewhat disappointing and I give them an average rating. During our in home estimate, the Air Max rep explained to us in detail about the equipment that would be replaced and the amount of work involved. One of the items he included in the contract was a “flat roof pad” on which the several hundred pound HVAC unit would be sitting on. After the installation of the unit, I checked the work and saw that the workers did not install the “flat roof pad” per the contract. Instead, they placed two 2”x 6” boards (which they found on my property and used without my permission) under the front end of the unit to level the HVAC on the slightly pitched roof. The boards were positioned perpendicular to the direction of rainwater drainage. At the back end of the unit, the metal frame HVAC sat on bare asphalt roofing. Therefore, this several hundred pound unit was installed on my roof with only two points of contact to support its weight and one of these points consisted of a three foot long, 1/8 inch wide edge of metal frame. I showed a photo of this to a licensed roof contractor and he said that was not an ideal situation. Earthquakes, strong winds, and vibration from the HVAC could cause movement and damage the asphalt roofing. I called Air Max and the workers returned a week later to remedy the install. They installed 2”x4” boards (they brought their own wood this time) and positioned them parallel to the flow of drainage and added vibration dampeners underneath the front end of the HVAC. Since the HVAC was now raised about 1 1/2” with the 2”x 4” underneath it, I checked the main duct connecting the HVAC to the attic opening and saw a 1/2” gap between the duct and the attic opening, a large enough gap for small critters to access. I didn’t want to deal with Air Max anymore so I just sealed the gap with expanding insulating foam. The representatives and workers from Air Max were courteous and professional and were responsive to my concerns. The Lennox HVAC they installed delivers strong cold / heated air. Air Max also installed new ducts and registers to two of our bathrooms without charge which I appreciated. If you hire them, make sure you check their work and that their work is done to your satisfaction and performed according to the contract.”
“Daniels team was great! They worked efficiently the whole time and very nice/friendly. They made sure everything was connected properly and demonstrated how the units worked before leaving, they cleaned up any mess they had left and put furniture back the way it was, so happy with everything, and would recommend them!”
“Love AirMax HVAC, Burbank. They always live up to their stellar reputation. Special shout out and kudos to Rizen for his excellent service. I hope one day that Airmax will provide disounts for regular customers. Other than that, they're great! I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
“Victor and his partner Rison arrived on time and immediately showed why we trust this company. Thorough work on our scheduled maintenance with detailed review and clear options for some concerns that were found. They were able to show what they did, what needed follow up and provide an estimate (with a reduced cost) all within their visit. Top it off with friendly professional manner and we can safely say that we are happy that we chose this team.”
