Lafferty Heating

Lafferty Heating runs a HVAC and custom sheet metal operation right in Cambria. They handle both residential and commercial needs from their spot at 2489 Village Ln, taking on standard heating and cooling equipment plus fabricated metal pieces that fit specific building requirements. The crew manages exposed spiral ducting, kitchen hoods for commercial kitchens, and architectural elements such as metal counter tops, vents, copper roofs, and chimney surrounds. Local homeowners and businesses reach out when systems need replacement or when projects call for custom metal work that standard suppliers cannot provide. Their focus stays on getting the mechanical and metal details right the first time without extra layers of subcontractors.

In Cambria the coastal air brings steady moisture and temperature swings that push HVAC units hard during both cooler nights and warmer days, so crews often replace aging equipment or rebuild duct runs that have corroded. Lafferty handles kitchen hood installations and flue wraps for restaurants while also building side wall covers, chase caps, and parapet caps on commercial structures. Homeowners here face issues with vents that leak during heavy fog or wind, and the company fabricates copper roofs and spark arresters to match older homes without cutting corners on fit. Work usually starts with a site visit to measure and plan, then moves to fabrication in their shop before final install, keeping jobs moving even when weather turns.

Customers in this line of work count on crews that show up when a unit quits in the middle of a cold snap and finish without dragging the project out for weeks. Quality shows up in tight seams on ducting and metal that holds up against salt air, while fair pricing keeps repeat calls coming from the same neighborhoods. Clear talk about what the job actually needs and what it will cost builds trust fast. DIRT Score 4.84 from 94 reviews on Finds.

“Reliable, honest and trustworthy. Had a maintenance call on 40 year old furnace, a carbon monoxide leak was detected and new furnace was installed within a week. I did everything at a distance as I do not live in the house and it was a pleasure not to have to constantly chase a contractor to get project completed on time”

“We have an older heater which is developing some age-related problems. Lafferty has always responded quickly and professionally. They cleanup after themselves and do beautiful work when it involves the surrounding area.”

“The gas company discovered bad valve in one of our furnaces. I called Lafferty Heating and a fan motor was discovered not working. This was also replaced.”

“Service call went well for my Heater service... Unfortunately unit could not be repaired safely... So will need to have a NEW UNIT installed later this summer....”

“Excellent service and very nice trustworthy family business”
