Metro Express Service Llc
HVAC Contractor · Carrollton, TX
About
Metro Express Service Llc works out of Fort Worth, Texas, and keeps HVAC systems running for houses across the DFW area. They focus on air conditioning repairs, furnace work, heat pump service, and full unit replacements for brands like Trane. Homeowners in Arlington, Dallas, Plano, and Kennedale call them when summer heat pushes indoor temps too high or winter brings furnace failures. The company handles both quick fixes and bigger jobs like installing new air handlers or programmable thermostats, showing up for calls in the tough Texas weather that wears equipment down fast.
Techs arrive ready to dig into problems on site. Jose V. runs complete checks on compressors, snaps photos of worn parts, and walks customers through repair priorities with options that make sense for the system's age. Adam handled one call in under a day, tested an old unit thoroughly, and gave an on-site price for replacement when the existing equipment had reached its limit. Another homeowner got a fast service order after the AC started blowing hot air and the house hit 89 degrees, even when the call came in early. They also offer maintenance on gas and electric water heaters plus drain cleaning when those tie into HVAC setups.
Customers keep coming back because the crew stays responsive, explains issues without jargon, and works at fair rates without pushing unnecessary work. Most reviews note same-day or next-day arrivals, solid diagnostics from names like Jose V. and Adam, and honest advice on whether to repair or replace. Even on tougher jobs the techs stick around until the system is back up and running right. DIRT Score 4.77 from 100 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Metro is my go to HVAC service provider. They are very responsive and helpful and very service conscious. This time my a/c started blowing hot air and indoor temp was 89 when I knew I had a problem. I phoned too early for normal businesses but Metro understood and graciously put in service order for me. Rather than next day they were able to do same day and it was 97 in my house when their tech Tim arrived. He quickly identified the problem, made the repair by replacing a part and got it cooling. I got a cool nights sleep and I’m grateful for their prompt service. They have done my heat maintenance as well and always the same great result. I’m a happy customer.”
“Jose V. was great. He made a thorough diagnostic, took photos of worn parts in the compressor and explained what the priorities were, giving me sensible options. He explained things clearly, and gave me tips on prolonging the life of my system. MES were able to send him out within a couple of hours on a very hot day, and he exceeded all my expectations: efficient, well-trained, courteous, and honest. Thanks for the great service!”
“Responded to request for service in less than 24 hours. Adam was very professional and knowledgeable about everything. He did everything he could to repair our existing unit but sometimes and old unit is just passed its prime! Gave us an estimate on replacement while on-site at a great price! We will be using this company for replacement and all of our future HVAC needs! Highly recommended!!”
“I initially went w MES, a large HVAC company in DFW. They have fixed things twice previously w no issues. On 10 August 2021, The tech ("Sean") from MES Metro Express Service, after a lengthy physical inspection of my AC unit and air handlers, said my unit was "fried" and COMPLETELY UNREPAIRABLE. I'll repeat this: absolutely no way to bandaid or fix it in anyway, he said. He pushed me to replace both the AC and the air handler for $8000, a reduced price. He said this effectively was my only option. He called his office twice in front of me to sort out availability and price. Because I have run several businesses and am a natural skeptic, I then called Jerry Donaldson Heating/AC out of Grapevine based on a friend of a friend reference. He came out today and replaced the capacitor, all in for $135 in 15 minutes. Capacitors sell for about $14 to $20 on Amazon. Cool air flowing in and feels great. No other issues. What is the moral to this story? Think on that. I called their offices today to talk to Sean's supervisor and so far, no return call. You get one guess as to the subject matter. 45 days later the unit is running fantastic. Did I save $8000? You decide. Update: 7+ months later unit running great. Update: 23 months later unit running great Update Nov 2025 unit still running great!”
“Tim did a very good job on the post install quality check on my new ac and furnace. He was professional, very thorough and answered all my questions. A real asset to MES and a tech I would request by name again.”
