A & R Refrigeration Inc

A & R Refrigeration Inc operates out of Chowchilla as a solid HVAC contractor that has been in the business since 1960. They handle air conditioning and heating needs for local homeowners, with a main focus on putting in new systems and replacing old ones that no longer cut it. The crew also takes care of repairs when units break down during the worst weather. Serving nearby areas like Merced and Madera keeps them busy year round with the kind of work that keeps houses comfortable through the seasons.

Chowchilla summers push air conditioners hard with the heat, so this crew stays on top of repairs for AC and heaters when something fails in the middle of a cold snap or heat wave. They specialize in full replacements and new installations that get homes back to comfortable temps quick. Regular maintenance through their membership plan catches small issues before they turn into expensive fixes, and they cover service calls for all sorts of HVAC problems that pop up in the valley climate. Homeowners around here deal with dust and temperature swings that wear systems out faster, making reliable local help like this one essential for keeping the house livable without constant headaches.

Folks who use HVAC companies in places like this rate them on how fast they respond to calls, the quality of the fix, whether the price feels right for the work, and how well the crew explains the situation without using a bunch of extra words. A & R has built up enough positive feedback on those points to reach a high mark overall. That consistency comes from showing up prepared and getting the job done without dragging things out or leaving messes behind. Local homeowners face the same issues season after season, so companies that handle them well stand out in the reviews. DIRT Score 4.75 from 176 reviews on Finds.

“I had my ac installed by A &R and it was a great experience. Very reasonable price and everything was explained well. No hidden costs. I am very happy with my AC. I would totally recommend this company to a friend. UPdate: I had a problem with my heater, it was working fine but it was making a noise everytime it turned on, it just took one call and it was fixed promptly! No charges! Great job! Thank you so much for your great service Terry!”

“This company kept sending me text messages even after I told them it was the wrong number. They said they would fix it. But I kept verging their text messages. And their actual customer was most likely not notified. Now I know where R******* lives and her address and what she’s having problems with.”
