Our smaller compressor started randomly heating up and cutting off. I called Lakeway, and they came out promptly to fix it. They trouble shot it for a few days, and found that it just had a faulty chip board which rarely happens. Of all the hard work they put into it, they never charged me. You won’t find a more professional HVAC company here in Brenham, from their front desk customer service to their hard working technicians. “My air conditioners fan stopped blowing and within an hour technicians came and diagnosed the problem to be a small control board. They went to the shop 1/4 mile away to get the part. In less than 45 minutes my unit was working properly. I have used this shop for years and have ALWAYS found the techs to be courteous and knowledgeable. I do however resent a trip charge of $100. Round trip to my home is less than 1/2 of a mile. The circuit board charge was $271. On Amazon the boards can be purchased for $39 -$165. Labor charge was $100 an hr for first man, $40 a hr for the trainee. Profit is NOT a dirty word, however…”
