Texas A&H
HVAC Contractor · College Station, TX
About
Texas A&H operates as an HVAC outfit right in Killeen, Texas. They focus on keeping heating and cooling systems running for homes across the area. Killeen sees long stretches of intense summer heat mixed with cooler winter nights, so steady air flow and temperature control become essential for everyday living. The crew handles the practical side of residential HVAC without extra layers, sticking to what homeowners actually need when units break down or need updates. Their base in the city lets them reach jobs fast and stay familiar with local building styles and weather patterns that affect equipment.
They handle full installations of new air conditioning and heating setups, along with repairs on existing systems like compressor swaps, duct cleaning, and thermostat fixes. In practice this means showing up to diagnose why an AC stops blowing cold air during a July heat wave or why a furnace struggles on a January morning. The team works on maintenance calls to catch issues early, such as low refrigerant levels or clogged filters that strain the whole unit. They also manage emergency responses when systems fail at the worst times, using standard tools to get things back online without dragging the job out longer than needed. Homeowners in Killeen often deal with dust from the region and high humidity, so the work centers on reliable fixes that hold up under those conditions.
Customers note the crew's fast arrival for service calls, work that holds without quick callbacks, straightforward costs that match the estimate, and direct talk about what needs doing versus what can wait. These points add up across the reviews to show consistent performance on real jobs. DIRT Score 4.91 from 1245 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Need I say more? Texas A&M has the best and most tight-knit student body. I felt like I could find a family here even from my first visit. No regrets, go Aggies!”
“My experience in the Psychology program at Texas A&M University–San Antonio raised serious concerns about consistency between what is taught and what is practiced. In courses like statistics and research methods 1 & 2 students are taught the importance of ethics, objectivity, and following best practices especially as future professionals in psychology. These principles are not optional; they are foundational to the field. However, my experience did not always reflect those same standards in practice. There were moments where strong academic performance appeared to be met with skepticism rather than support. Instead of reinforcing learning and growth, it created an environment where doing well felt like it could lead to doubt or scrutiny. This disconnect is concerning. When students are taught to value integrity, fairness, and evidence-based thinking, those same principles should be consistently modeled by the faculty. Equally important is the responsibility of institutions to listen when students raise concerns. When multiple voices speak up, it should be seen as an opportunity for reflection and improvement not something to overlook. Education should build confidence, reinforce ethical standards, and support student success. When those elements are misaligned, it impacts not only the learning experience, but the trust students place in the system. Students should never feel the need to hold themselves back to avoid unnecessary scrutiny. Academic environments should reward effort, growth, and integrity not discourage it.”
