“If I could I would give them a negative 5. I came to this place about 9 or 10 years ago. I was 17 at the time that I had gone by myself so I'm thinking that what had happend to me there was cause I had gone alone. Well the women at the front desk were very rude. I wanted to get contact lenses and I have an astigmatism in my right eye. Got out and it was time to learn how to put the contacts in and the woman that was teaching me to put them in was so rude she literally had told me that I wasn't leaving until I learned to put them in. Of course I get that ,but to talk to me with bad additive all rude that isn't right. I wasn't rude to her. So after all that I went to front desk to pay it cost me about $309.00 just for a 12month supply of colored contacts (not including the cost of exam). they told me that my contacts would be ready in about 2 weeks so I waited the two weeks they never called so I called them and they told me that they weren't in yet it take a few days and that they would call me ok so then a week passes I called and again they weren't in. I told my dad what they were doing with how they would tell me they where going to be ready then say they weren't when i would call. I don't remember much of what was said, but point is that same day they gave me my contacts being that they had told me over the phone that it was going to take a few more days. I'm glad I told my dad about the situation cause they possibly would have screwd me over unless they did. I never told my dad how much I had paid for the contacts. If anyone reads my review please tell me your opinion on of you think I got screwd with how much I paid for those lenses.”
“If i could give zero I would. Front desk lady was 20 minutes late. She didn't do any research on my insurance. Said i had a $20 copay for glasses but wanted to charge me $350 for the exam for contacts when the copay for that is $60. I verified with my insurance and they confirmed that was wrong. I left immediately and cancelled the appointment. Had better luck at Wal-Mart. Was seen and out within 20 minutes there. Definitely do not recommend this place.”
“Had an appointment on 18 May, doc was kind of rude. Ordered contact lenses and here it is 27 June and still no lenses ! Call and they were on back order, great on courtesy call or anything? Every time I called they said they’re not in yet ! Strongly discourage anyone from using this business !”
“I called and tried to schedule an appointment and the secretary places me on hold for about 5 minutes then comes back and says she can see me on Monday. I explained that I couldn't do Mon or Tues. She places me on hold for a few more minutes then come back on the phone and tells me "we can see u Monday @ 2" I explained AGAIN that I wasn't available Monday or Tuesday and she makes a huffing sound like I was bothering her then proceeds to hang up on me. I call right back and ask her if she hung up on me and she responded with a whole lot of attitude for someone who didn't nothing wrong. I was annoyed and pissed off and explained that now I understand why they only have a 1 star rating. Honestly this one star is extremely generous. I had Medicaid as my insurance, for about 2 months while I was going to college fulltime. This office was the only one I knew of that accepts it so I was forced to go anyways. I went in telling her, the receptionist, that I wanted contacts and she proceeded to set up the paperwork. I thought all was well until after the screening when I go back to her so she can finish setting up my things. It is then that she explains that they don't offer a prescription or exam for contacts.. But since they did the exam I couldn't try and even find a new office. I ended up going to my regular eye doctor. Dr Blankenship, when I arrived I found out he now accepts medicaid.. (What a freaken mess right?!?) Do I ended up paying out of pocket for a new exam. LSS. Dr Jeffries needs better office personnel and needs to be honest. I feel scammed but I learned my lesson.”
“Very bad experience, so unprofesional rude ladies at front sold me some glasses for my son had to pay out of pocket because they are so lazy and do not want to file claim through my insurance!!”
