Juan Manuel Rodriguez Sr
HVAC Contractor · Comal County, TX
About
Juan Manuel Rodriguez Sr handles HVAC work for homes across Comal County, Texas. This part of the state brings long hot summers that push air conditioning units hard along with occasional winter cold fronts that test heating systems. The operation stays focused on standard repair and maintenance calls that keep residential equipment running in local houses. Homeowners here deal with dust buildup and humidity that shorten the life of coils and compressors faster than in other regions so routine service forms most of the daily workload. Background details show the name tied to a longtime educator and community figure from the area though the trade centers on practical HVAC tasks.
Customers have shared specific experiences with the service such as Julio Giovanni Guzman noting a two hundred dollar charge that delivered no real value on the job performed. Adrian Duarte described showing up early for an appointment only to wait nearly two hours before staff mentioned the main person had to leave for another matter leaving little regard for scheduled time. Daniella Escobar mentioned steady follow up on ongoing breathing related system checks that helped maintain control while Sophie Lush pointed to rounds of extra tests ordered without any later visit to explain results or finish the work. These accounts cover typical HVAC visits for cooling repairs and system checks that often ran into delays or added costs without clear outcomes.
Homeowners point to repeated shortfalls in how jobs get handled with complaints centering on high prices for limited results slow response times that stretch past set appointments and weak communication that shows little respect for schedules or follow through. Quality of the actual fixes draws criticism when problems return or tests lead nowhere while price concerns stand out when bills arrive without matching value delivered. Speed and overall professionalism receive the lowest marks across the feedback. DIRT Score 1.5 from 12 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Not good at all, I spent q.200.00 and not worth it!!!!”
“Terrible service. We arrived 45 minutes before our appointment, and after almost two hours of waiting, the rude receptionist told us we could wait longer because the doctor had to leave the clinic to attend to an emergency at the hospital. Zero respect and consideration for people's time and appointment times. Doctors who work in hospital emergencies shouldn't be seeing patients in clinics. As an added note, the facilities are very basic and the waiting room chairs are uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. There are many better pulmonologists in Guatemala.”
“He's been my pulmonologist since I was a child, and he's always treated me very well. He's provided excellent follow-up and treatment to keep my asthma under control. An excellent doctor.”
“Don't waste your time with a clinic that has absolutely no respect for its clients' time. They'll send you to get thousands of quetzales worth of tests done, only to never see you again to give you the results. Any other option is better. Zero professionalism and consideration. Terrible service; they never answer emails, but when it's to find out where the tests were done so they can collect commissions, they're quick to contact you.”
“At first, I was very hesitant to comment, but after reading other people's comments, I agree. It seems like sending people for a bunch of tests is a business. I spent over Q6,000 on tests and another Q2,800 on medications that ultimately didn't do anything. According to the results of those so-called tests, everything is fine, yet I got sick. Sadly, these kinds of people profit from illness and people's distress 🥺🥺. It's a shame that many people don't report it.”
