“DECEPTIVE PRACTICE This company told me that they unclogged the a/c drain and the unit should be working and cooling the house in a few hours. The house did not cool down even after a day and a half. Called them back; this time they gave me a diagnosis of corroded/leaking filter drier and no freon at all. Gave me a whopping written estimate in the mid $800's. I called for a second opinion; this second company informed me that A Affordable pumped down and closed down the system. This second opinion opened the valves and found that the unit is full of freon. Now the a/c is fixed without any major expense on my part. My house has cooled off nicely without any more problems. I would NOT recommend this A Affordable Comfort to anybody because of their DECEPTION and DISHONESTY to me. I would not recommend trusting these people at all. Always get a second opinion if this company gives you an exorbitant estimates.”
