About

Christopher Felt A/C & Heating operates out of Conroe, Texas as a local HVAC outfit focused on keeping homes comfortable through the area's brutal summers and occasional cold snaps. The crew consists of NATE-certified technicians who handle the full range of air conditioning and heating work that Conroe homeowners run into every year. They show up with the right tools for systems that battle nonstop humidity and heavy use, without any extra layers of management getting in the way.

Their work covers installing new units, repairing existing equipment like compressors and coils that fail under Texas heat, and maintaining ductwork that often leaks in older houses around the county. Technicians diagnose issues on site, order parts that fit the job, and get the system running again without dragging things out. In a place like Conroe where AC breakdowns hit hardest from May through September, they focus on straightforward fixes that restore cooling fast and keep bills from spiking. Homeowners call them for seasonal tune-ups that catch small problems before they turn into full replacements during peak season.

Customers keep coming back because the jobs get done right the first time, prices stay fair for the work involved, and the crew communicates clearly about what needs fixing and how long it will take. Speed matters when the temperature climbs past ninety degrees, and reviews show they deliver without overcharging or leaving loose ends. Quality shows up in systems that hold up after the service call instead of needing repeat visits. DIRT Score 4.96 from 152 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Highly Recommend - Awesome Auto Repair Shop - Honest and Trustworthy!! I will try and make a long story short... I dealt with an intermittent rough idle for over a year; I took my car to the Ford dealership and two other shops and they could find nothing wrong. I took it to a shop in Montgomery and the rough idle actually happened while they were running their diagnostics. They said it was my fuel pump, got approval from my warranty company, and replaced it. About a week later, while driving home, the car started running badly (couldn't even go the speed limit), and my check engine light came on. I took it back to the shop and it was a misfire in Cylinder 4. My warranty company wanted me to approve the charges because if they replaced the injector and that didn't fix the issue, I would be responsible for the entire cost. I did not approve the repair. My coworker told me about Christopher Auto Repair and suggested I talk to the owner, Thomas. After work I did. I told Thomas what was going on and asked if I could have AAA-TX tow my car to his shop; he said I could but they were booked up and it would be about a week before they could look at it; I said that was fine. My Technician, Robin, test drove my car several times and found no issues. I told him the bad running and check engine light only came on in the afternoon, when it was hot outside, and asked him to drive it one more time. This was about 2:00 pm when I spoke to him. I was going to wait until 5:30 pm to call back, if I didn't hear from him. About 5:15 pm I received a call from Thomas. He drove my car, had his diagnostic instruments with him, the car had the rough running and the check engine light came on, and he was confident it was a fuel issue. My car has two fuel pumps, low velocity in the gas tank and high velocity on the engine. The shop in Montgomery changed the one in my gas tank. He spoke with my warranty company, they approved the replacement of the high velocity fuel pump, and I approved the repair. I got a call the next day that my car was ready to pickup. My sister took me the next morning, I got my car, got about a mile away, and the check engine light came on again. I turned around and went back. When they checked the code, it was misfire in Cylinder 4. Because of everything that went on with my car, Thomas gave me a very reasonable and generous offer to replace the fuel injector in Cylinder 4; I approved the repair and just after I picked up my grandsons from school, Thomas called, said my car was ready, and I would not have any further issues. He was absolutely right!! I am extremely grateful to Thomas and his crew for their patience and taking the time to really "look" at the problem and figure out everything that was wrong with my car. I cannot praise them enough. I was truly Blessed to find them and highly recommend them to everyone who wants an honest, trustworthy, and compassionate repair shop, you will not be sorry!!

Christopher's Auto is a great place to take your vehicle. Very honest and friendly people there. The prices for repair are very reasonable.

I have used Christopher Auto Repair several times now for different vehicles and each time they have been very helpful with setting up appointments and completing the work within the time specified and have taken care of my vehicles issues without hassle. I would recommend them to anyone who asks for a place to have auto repair. I wish I would have used them sooner for some of my vehicles in the past.

Finally an auto shop that did what they said they would do. Fair pricing for an old car. I definitely will be returning. Thank you.
