About

Cover HVAC operates out of Conroe, TX and focuses on heating and cooling work for local homes. The crew handles the demands of Texas weather where summers push systems hard and winters still require reliable heat. They take on both new installs and repair calls across the area, showing up with the tools and parts needed to get units running again without dragging jobs out longer than necessary. Homeowners in Conroe deal with constant humidity and dust that clogs coils and strains compressors, so this type of steady HVAC service keeps houses comfortable through the worst months.

Their work covers minisplit setups for sunrooms and full system replacements after bidding against other outfits. Jeremy leads the team and makes a point of answering questions even on weekends or late in the day, while the crew shows up ready to protect floors and clean up after themselves. One job involved installing a minisplit and passing along practical tips like leaving the unit on rather than cycling it, which helped the owner avoid common mistakes in the Texas climate. Another project started with multiple bids but stood out because the group stayed responsive from the first call through completion.

Customers keep coming back for the clear communication and solid results on both small fixes and bigger installs, with praise for how the team shares real knowledge instead of rushing through explanations. Speed on service calls and fair pricing on equipment round out the feedback that builds their reputation in the area. The consistent quality shows up in how well the systems hold up once the work is done. DIRT Score 5.0 from 214 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

When your technician showed up, I tried to greet him at the door since this was the first time meeting anyone from your company. He completely ignored me and walked right past me into the house without a word. I have never had a service call start like that, and it set the tone for everything that followed. As for the phone call — I recorded it. So you can write whatever version of events you’d like here for public view, but you and I both know what was actually said. Don’t put words in my mouth or mischaracterize what happened just because you think no one can check. You also brought up my brother and the dog as if that’s the real story here. It’s not. The real story is a company that doesn’t clean up after itself over a multi-day job, a technician who won’t acknowledge the homeowner standing at his own front door, and a supervisor who’d rather publish accusations than address the actual complaint: rooms still weren’t right and the job site was left a mess. If you want to actually improve this business, start with customer service — train your techs to treat people’s homes with respect and to clean up as the job progresses, not just at the very end. That’s the bare minimum, and it’s why this review exists.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company after spending thousands of dollars. The technician, JR, was unable to answer any of my questions and instead flat-out ignored me every time I asked something, until I finally insisted on speaking to his supervisor. I then got on the phone with “Jeremy,” who I was told is the boss. I’ll admit I came across a bit aggressive at first because I was frustrated, but I apologized for that tone right away. Instead of accepting the apology and having a normal conversation, Jeremy started screaming at me on the phone, saying I couldn’t tell him how to do his job and that he’s been in the industry for 20 years. I calmly explained that no one was trying to tell him how to do his job — I just wanted answers instead of excuses. He never calmed down and kept ranting about being tired of people who don’t know anything about his job trying to tell him what to do. I work in the service industry myself, and I have never experienced a representative of a company speak to a paying customer this way. This company gives excuse after excuse instead of taking accountability. We’ve had to clean up after their own messes multiple times after they’ve left — if you’re getting paid to provide a service, have the integrity to clean up after your own work. That’s part of the job. I have a recording of the entire call with Jeremy, and I will not tolerate being spoken to that way by anyone representing a business, regardless of the circumstances. It was rude and completely unprofessional. Jeremy — you need to learn to control your emotions if you’re going to run a business. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Love our Minisplit for our sunroom here in Texas. Great company to work with and appreciate the knowledge shared with us that we would have never known. Basically, keeping it on at all times based on the room it is located. Many more tips as well. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Jeremy and his team with Cover HVAC. The process started with me calling out 4+ contractors to bid the job. Jeremy stood out from the rest with his outstanding customer service, including answering emails on the weekends (even after hours)! When his crew arrived, they took their time to do the job right, including re-routing some of the duct work to make the attic more accessible. Believe the 5-star reviews, these guys are great!

Showed up on time of appointment. Diagnosed quickly & had parts on truck to repair. Reasonable price & I am a repeat customer. Explained options & up front pricing. Very satisfied & would recommend to others.
