About

Guy Hancock Investments Inc runs HVAC operations based in Conroe, TX. Their work centers on air conditioning and heating repairs for homes across the area, with a noted emphasis on twenty four hour emergency service that reaches into New Caney as well. Residents in these spots deal with the pressures of Texas heat and occasional cold periods that put strain on equipment. This setup helps address both scheduled maintenance calls and sudden breakdowns that leave households without proper temperature control. The firm steps in when routine upkeep falls short or when systems quit during peak demand times that hit local properties hard.

Technicians in this line of work around Conroe commonly handle full system replacements, duct repairs, and thermostat troubleshooting when units fail during peak summer heat or unexpected cold snaps. Homeowners face issues like clogged filters from humidity, compressor problems in older setups, and the need for fast parts swaps to restore comfort without long downtime. Service calls typically involve diagnosing electrical faults or refrigerant leaks on the spot, then completing the fix before leaving the property to avoid return visits. These steps keep air moving and temperatures steady even when humidity spikes or winter fronts roll through.

Customers have flagged repeated problems with delays in getting issues resolved and poor follow through on requests, which drags down the overall rating across the twenty reviews collected. Feedback highlights frustration over extended timelines and lack of clear updates during the process, leading to the low mark for this provider. DIRT Score 0.64 from 20 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Here is the letter I wrote, with absolutely no reply; Dear Mr. Hatch, I am writing to express my frustration and concern regarding my recent experience attempting to obtain information about an inheritance and beneficiary claim related to my late father, Thomas R. Baechle. Over the course of my vacation, I spent approximately three and a half to four hours on the phone and spoke with more than six different representatives. During nearly every call, I was told that no one could locate either my father's information or my own information in your system. This was despite the fact that I repeatedly provided my full name, address, Social Security number, my father's name, and his birth date, and explained that I was a named beneficiary. What I find particularly troubling is that the final representative I spoke with was able to locate my information almost immediately. She informed me that my information was in the system, along with the names and information of my siblings. If that information was available all along, why did it require more than half a dozen phone calls and several hours of my time before I reached someone who could find it? I was also informed by my financial manager that John Hancock had sent correspondence indicating that it was imperative for me to call regarding this matter. Following those instructions, I called the number provided and was routed into a generic customer service process, which is what began this entire ordeal. After hours of being transferred, repeating the same information, and being told that no record could be found, the final representative advised me that there was actually no need for me to call because everything was already in good order. This raises several questions that I believe deserve an explanation. How can a company of John Hancock's size and reputation have systems that appear unable to cross-reference records using a beneficiary's name, Social Security number, address, or a policyholder's name and birth date when the information was clearly in the database all along? Why are beneficiaries required to make repeated calls and speak with numerous representatives before reaching someone with access to the correct information? What procedures are in place to prevent other families from experiencing the same confusion and frustration? To make matters worse, the last representative I spoke with became noticeably impatient and dismissive during our conversation. After spending hours trying to resolve a matter that your company instructed me to call about, I found that interaction disappointing and unprofessional. I am requesting a written explanation regarding what occurred, why locating my information proved so difficult, and what steps John Hancock is taking to improve its customer service and claims support processes for beneficiaries. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, David C. Baechle

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to get my IRA account transferred for over a month. They keep asking for more and more documentation. I am irate and at a loss of how to get this resolved. DO NOT FO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

On-line app is junk. Would not let me set up my beneficaries. Made call to Customer Service. 1 1/2 hours later was told beneficaries would be set up within 3 days. 14 days later NO BENEFICARIES set up. Made another call. Customer Service just as useless as prior call. Could not set up on line. System failure. Go figure.

Horrible. Can't get to your money. They won't work with you unless you have a ton of money. Taking now over a month to transfer. No one know what the heck they are doing!!!

I found an account from my previous job, not only did they constantly only make .5% a quarter, but their fees ended up being more than the gains.. I pulled the account and that has taken over a month, I basically gave them money to screw around with and they charged me with fees to do so.
