Lowe Ac & Heating
HVAC Contractor · Conroe, TX
About
Lowe Ac & Heating runs an HVAC operation based in Conroe, Texas. They take care of air conditioner and furnace repair plus regular service calls. The team serves the immediate area and heads out to places like Navasota when calls come in. Texas heat and sudden cold spells put a lot of stress on home systems, so they stay busy with repairs that get things back online fast. Folks in the region reach out for direct fixes on equipment that wears out from constant use, and the crew sticks to the job without pushing extra work or long explanations. They know the local weather patterns force units to run hard most of the year.
In practice the team shows up to handle compressor replacements, duct repairs, and furnace tune ups that keep air flowing clean during long summers. They work on both residential installs and quick service visits when thermostats fail or units freeze over from humidity. Local jobs often involve clearing blocked lines or swapping parts on older systems that have taken years of Texas weather. Crews move through calls efficiently, testing everything before they leave so the equipment holds up without repeat issues popping up right away. Homeowners count on them for those everyday breakdowns that hit during peak heat or when the first cold front rolls through.
Customers keep coming back because the pricing stays reasonable compared to bigger outfits and the work holds without shortcuts. Reviews point to solid value on repairs that last, with crews showing up on time and explaining what needs doing in plain terms. That combination of fair costs and reliable results adds up across thousands of jobs. DIRT Score 4.53 from 2936 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I made the mistake of ordering a dishwasher through Lowe’s made it very clear what day I would not be able to have it installed. When checking out and they said the wrong day I told them again. I cannot be there if they can’t change it to the day that I can then to cancel the order. They assured me they’ll call me and I can pick the day which was not the case No one can change the delivery date so I asked for my money back. I’m on day three of trying to get my money back I have been hung up on several times trying to reach someone. I have been lied to several times and assured that it is taken care of. I will get my credit back. The order has been canceled. It has not the lack of customer service and lies that you will get from them Is astronomical. Go anywhere, but Lowe’s even when talking to one of the managers, I was told there was nothing they could do. How is that possible? I paid for a product in a service that has not happened and will not happen, but there’s nothing you can do to give me my money back wrong answer. Again, go anywhere, but Lowe’s”
“This store does not honor kobalts lifetime warranty on thier products. I could not provide proof of purchase sure but none the less, kobalt products are only sold at.......lowes. Label on the product clearly states "hassle-free lifetime warranty". To make things worse the product im speaking of? A $40 axe, customer service was the epitome of lack luster. I will most definitely be taking my business to companies who actually stand beind thier products and warranties.”
“I had an excellent experience at Lowe’s thanks to two outstanding employees. David helped load my lumber and was amazing—very caring, patient, and incredibly helpful. He made the whole process easy and stress-free. Humberto, the lumber associate, was like having a personal shopper. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me plan my project, pick out the right materials, and even assisted with measuring and cutting everything I needed. Customer service like this is rare. Huge thank you to both of them! I’ll definitely be back.”
“I am a disabled veteran and above-knee amputee, and this store turned a simple trip for lumber into a nightmare of pure physical torment. I needed a few pieces of lumbar to build a hamster cage. Staff directed me to self-checkout, where I paid. The woman then casually informed me that she had no idea who sent me there and that I now had to push my cart all the way back to the lumber department myself — on one leg. No apology. No offer of help. Just cold indifference. With my stump throbbing and my remaining leg already burning from the effort, I shoved that heavy cart across the endless store like a broken man crawling through a battlefield. They told me to wait 20 minutes for a cut. The store was nearly empty. Twenty agonizing minutes of standing on one trembling leg, muscles screaming, sweat pouring, my knee buckling and shaking violently under the strain. Every second felt like my leg was about to snap and leave me collapsed in a heap on the floor, gasping in pain. I couldn’t take another minute. My body was shutting down. I turned around and painfully dragged that cart back across the store on one exhausted, quivering leg just to return everything. The whole ordeal left me feeling like I’d been tortured.(not in AFG but right in my home town) Home Depot has actual human beings with basic decency and far better customer service. This place showed zero respect for a disabled veteran who lost a limb serving this country. My family, my business, and I will never set foot in this hellhole again. Stay far away.”
