They have worked on my ice machine and my air conditioner and very good at problem solving and getting things in proper running order. “The day I met Robert owner of PROTEX I was needing a ice machine. He came out to Mikel Mays and said he would give me two for the price on of one. He would also install them. I stuck my hand out immediately said deal he said same warranty as new and I will give you to the end of summer to pay for them. After I said deal. He has had multiple of employees there and Funtrackers some not so pleasant but anytime I had a issue with the bill he sat down with me and we agreed on a price. Always him losing. If you have employees they are all great in front of the boss. I don’t call anyone else”

“Black listed me when i complained about labor hours charged Guy was in my kitchen for an hour doing the actual job And another 30 minutes when they first came out to get measurements and then the rest of the time outside in the van for another hour before he left when he finished in the kitchen… Surprised to find a 3.5 hr charge of over 700$ to change out (2)burner gas valves mind you almost the cost of a new grill After i complained the Owner called me and settled on a lower price point when i stated my problem with the bill and okay problem fixed and was happy to give them another try But then 3 months down the road was having issues with my cheese salamander tried calling in a service call and get emailed that i have been black listed to be serviced because i was unsatisfactory with them ……. We have 3 restaurants in corpus and not sure if this is a good business practice for them This was 2 years ago but my review disappeared wanted to warn others”
