“UPDATE: Just had to update my review and share how incredible my new system has been! I’ve had it for about seven weeks now, and the difference is unreal. The whole house stays quiet, consistent, and genuinely comfortable — no more freezing or boiling pockets in random rooms. But the biggest shock has been my electric usage. Since installation, my energy consumption has dropped by 70% compared to the same time last year, even with higher temperatures, according to Pedernales Electric Co-op and my bills reflect it too.(see photos). This system has easily become one of the best investments I’ve ever made for my home. —————————— ORIGINAL REVIEW: This company is unlike anything you’ve ever seen or experienced. I spent six weeks researching before getting six separate quotes for HVAC system replacement (Heat Pump) before ultimately choosing The Coolest Air. They are by far not the cheapest, nor are they the most expensive but the service, quality, and value they deliver are worth every single penny if not more. I received quotes that were one third the price and quotes that were double the price but no other quote or company offered anything nearly as comprehensive as The Coolest Air. Their Happy Guarantee, No Lemon Guarantee, and lengthy Labor Warranty are unmatched in this area. And the customer service…so ridiculously good you’d think you were having a fever dream. Every single person (Tammy, Cliff, Aaron, Daniel) is warm, personable, knowledgeable, extraordinarily patient, and just so stinking nice! They continuously go above and beyond for their customers but the do it all SILENTLY so if you’re not paying attention and you don’t have a lot of knowledge or prior experience with HVAC companies and work, you wouldn’t know about 80% of what they do for you. I’m thrilled with the experience and my newly installed system. I can’t see myself ever using a different HVAC company again. I don’t think it’ll ever be necessary, but stuff happens and things can change so if they do, I’ll absolutely update this review.”

“Explained drain line improperly installed, left corner at p trap sitting lower than right side drain pipe, resulting in pooling of water in pipe until vacuum forms from pipe filling completely up with water like putting your finger over the end of a straw. Per proper installation a 1% grade or 1/8 inch drop per foot of pipe is required for proper drainage from pan, otherwise the vacuum force will result in switch housing filling with water. Will result in continued issues, and another trouble call, until drain pipe installation error corrected, I have had 3 services calls due to drain flood switch housing filling with water, now providing images, because invoices completely disregard this blatant error, it is easy to see the top of green pipe in left corners it’s higher than lower part of green pipe in right, the grade is backwards resulting in p trap end being lower than drain pipe, this is resulting in a vacuum forming from back pressure in pipe, filling the vent and p trap up to the pan flood shut off switch. This will not drain properly, and will continue to back fill pipe until corrected, 19k dollars, and 3 calls in the first 3 months of new unit for same issue that I specifically addressed with technician who came to home. This is unacceptable.”

“I chose The Coolest Air to install my new ac system in Austin and it went great! They have the best customer service but also the best install crew around. Cliff, Aaron & Daniel worked two days on converting my original Daikin FIT system to a high efficiency Dual Fuel Heat Pump system with gas furnace. The system also qualifies for a tax credit. We are excited to have them doing our maintenance from now on. They added air purifier and an IFLO drain system. Thank you guys!”

“What a wonderful company and a delight to meet and work with Cliff, Aaron and Daniel. I had an unfortunate situation where two of my A/C’s went bad at once and “The Coolest Air” company was here ASAP to lend a hand. From scheduling to replacement it was a pure delight. Timely, knowledgeable, extremely delightful and willing to go an extra step. My pictures show the old unit on the left and the first new unit on the right installed. Super quiet and energy efficient.
