HVAC Contractor · Cypress, TX
About
CCR & Y LLC operates out of Round Rock, TX as a full service HVAC provider handling both residential and commercial properties. They focus on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work that includes installation of new systems, routine maintenance visits, repairs to existing units, and full replacements when equipment fails. The company holds the proper state license for this trade and positions itself to keep homes and businesses comfortable through the hot Texas summers and cooler winter periods. Homeowners in the area often deal with heavy AC use due to the climate, so the outfit stresses clear explanations of what needs attention and straightforward pricing on every job.
They handle diagnostics on complex problems and get systems running again without unnecessary delays. One customer brought in a vehicle with coding issues on an airbag module after another shop had worked on it, and the crew scheduled the fix for the next day before returning the car to the road. Another needed honest assessment on airbag installation requirements and received straightforward answers about parts and timing. A third had Payne sort out electrical faults on a Jeep, where he identified the root cause fast and walked through each step in plain language. The team also manages jobs such as tail light repairs at collision centers, though some of those efforts have drawn complaints about added damage during the process.
Customers consistently note solid communication and practical knowledge that helps resolve issues without confusion, along with professional conduct during the work itself. Positive feedback highlights quick scheduling and clear updates on what was found, while the lower overall score reflects occasional problems with thoroughness or extra harm during repairs. Speed and quality vary by job, and price feedback stays mixed across the set. DIRT Score 3.42 from 11 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Absolutely do NOT use this shop. They were called to Classic Collision off 249 to diagnose a simple tail light issue. After 4 hours, they finally found the problem — but not before causing irreversible damage. They destroyed the mounted bracket, cut off the harness protection cover, and sawed through the harness connector. Who does that? Then they had the nerve to quote over $500 to “fix” what they messed up. I fixed it myself in 30 minutes. This shop clearly lacks the skills or knowledge for proper mechanical or wiring repairs. If you value your time, money, and vehicle, stay far away.”
“I had a coding issues with an airbag module after being installed by our mechanic. I called CCR and got appointment next day and was back on the road shortly afterwards. Great communication and knowledge the guys have at the shop. I do appreciate the help and will be back if needed. Great job keep it up.”
“They were very friendly and professional. They gave me honest results of what my car needed to install airbags. Will definitely come back for airbag installation when I get the parts. Thank you!”
“I had an outstanding experience at CCR with Payne working on my Jeep’s electrical system. From start to finish, his professionalism and attention to detail were evident. Not only did he quickly diagnose the issue, but he also took the time to explain everything to me in clear, easy-to-understand terms. That level of communication really put me at ease. When I saw the completed repair, I was genuinely impressed — the work was so clean and precise that it looked as if it had just rolled off the factory floor. It’s rare to find someone who combines such skill with excellent customer service, but Payne truly delivered on both fronts. Because of this experience, I can confidently say that I’ll be coming back to CCR for any future electrical repairs. They’ve earned my trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their vehicle cared for with the highest standards.”
“Sharp group of guys! Helped me out big time with my Camry's front radar issue ,came in for a front radar calibration by referral from another shop, they pointed out that the vehicle i had purchased had some body damage being hidden by the bumper and the damaged wiring behind it they were able to fix it up the wiring and calibrate my radar in one visit!
