About

Rci Texas Partners L P runs an HVAC operation out of Amarillo, Texas, handling heating and cooling work across the panhandle. The company connects to Gary's Heating and Air Conditioning and has put in decades on local jobs, with records noting 47 years of service in places like Canyon and Bushland. Amarillo weather swings from brutal summer heat to sharp winter cold, so crews focus on keeping systems reliable for homes that face those extremes year after year. They cover standard residential needs without extra layers of sales talk or upsells that often come with bigger outfits.

Work centers on air conditioning repairs and replacements, heating fixes for gas or electric units, ductwork repairs and replacements, thermostat installations, and attic insulation jobs. Technicians handle maintenance plans that include tune ups and inspections, along with indoor air quality items like UV lights and filters when systems need them. In practice, calls often involve quick responses to broken units during peak seasons, with crews addressing leaks, poor airflow, or failed components that leave houses uncomfortable. Amarillo homes see plenty of these issues because of dust, temperature swings, and older duct setups that wear out faster than in milder climates.

Customer feedback shows mixed results that pull the overall rating down, with some reviews noting solid work from field employees while others flag problems with the main office and billing practices tied to RCI connections. Praise centers on straightforward job handling and employee attitudes in isolated cases, yet repeated complaints about communication delays and administrative hurdles drag on the record. Speed and price draw the most criticism across the set, leaving quality and reliability uneven in the eyes of those who left input. DIRT Score 2.41 from 10 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Corporate office is horrible. They were aware my minor child would be losing her medical coverage soon due to them terminating her father, and all I needed was a letter from them stating when her coverage was to end so that I could prove it was a qualifying event and add her to mine through my employer. They don’t return voice messages. Office manager, Crucita Torres, didn’t answer a single email sent to her, and Tim in HR said he would speak to their lawyer to see what could be released to me since I wasn’t the employee, and never heard back from him. They could clearly see that my daughters policy was effective and terminated by looking in their own records. Her father said he tried getting the letter as well and gave them permission to release it. Still nothing. Providing a simple letter so a child doesn’t go without coverage isn’t hard.
