“This has been Happening at KENSINGTON PLACE APARTMENTS. 711 FM 1959 RD, HOUSTON TX 77034. Almost every Week people come to this APARTMENT Complex and Break-in the cars & Steal the Tires from the Vehicles. Its a Lawless Apartment Complex. Since this African American Manager is Appointed as Manager these Incidents have been started Happening more frequently. Don't come to this APARTMENT COMPLEX. Thieves & Criminals will come Break-In your Vehicles & When you will go to their Office the Manager Says She cannot do anything. When you will file any Work Order they will never show up Untill you call the Head Office. This KENSINGTON PLACE APARTMENT Complex is the Worst Place to live. The Manager there Not Competent to provide SECURITY to Her Residents. Alpha-Barnes Real Estate Services... You must Immediately Fire this Manager. Or These kind of Incident will keep happening.”

“If I could give this management company a -10 star review I would!! It's really that bad. So much of the time we don't take negative review seriously enough, but they should be taken seriously, and here's why. The property manager (Trinity Loft in Dallas TX) Shameka literally abused me to try to get me out of a unit. I am a quiet reserved person, I mostly traveled and was rarely home- she would give me lease warnings for stuff like hanging my blanket out to dry on the balcony for 15 minutes. Noise complaints when I was out of town. She even got her boss fired so that she could level up from assistant manager to property manager. Eventually, she racked up lease violations warnings against me for little stuff like parking, blankets, etc. and eventually she gave me a notice to vacate. I was literally shocked. I have always paid my rent in full and on time, have an 800 credit score, and a perfectly clean background. I was in complete shock and tears. There was never a sense of peace and unity living in this community due to a horrible leader. When I tried talking with her about the notice to vacate- she rolled her eyes and wouldn't even look me in the face. Extremely disrespectful behavior. She moved me out of the community within a week (which not only was extremely stressful), but also and made me pay thousands of dollars to finish up my lease and pay for last-minute movers. I LATER FOUND OUT THEY KICKED ME OUT SO THEY CAN RENOVATE MY UNIT AND RENT IT FOR MORE $$$$ !!!!!!! I had one of the best layouts in the building facing sunset, and my unit was highly requested. It all made sense a few months later! As for the non-personal issues with the complex, the elevator never works, there was always pet poop in the hallways, there are gunshots and robberies in the building and neighborhood. The walls are so thin you can literally hear your neighbor's toilet flushing, There are some really creepy criminal type people in this community as well. This building does not feel safe and it was scary living there as a single woman. This was the WORST experience I've EVER had with any landlord/building; I've lived in so many places and have never had issues. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT from this unethical, rude, gruesome company like this. You will regret moving here!”

“I leased an apartment at Sycamore Center Villas and I have had nothing but issues ever since I signed the lease. 1. My key didn't work on my original move-in date of 03/28/2018 and I was unable to move in until 04/07/2018. Leasing Team made a big deal about $67 prorated rent for March which has been promised to be applied to May rent instead of giving me my money back since I couldn't get in to my place. 2. I have not been given an updated lease with my correct move-in date. 3. Upon move in my heat was not working after they signed off on Section 8 Tarrant County inspection stating that everything was working properly. 4. I do not have access to my mailbox and mailbox key. 5. I found a roach in my master bath. 6. I send e-mails and they do not respond to them. 7. The people who live here are loud and ghetto. 8. There are cars with broken widows so lock your stuff up. 9. Trash everywhere 10. Staff acts like they don't care besides poor Ashleigh. I would love to get out of this lease. I will continue to complain every time something is not right with this apartment. I should have listened to the reviews. This place is terrible. This has been a huge let down and disappointment. Definitely will NOT be resigning my lease when it is up. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! I don't usually complain so for me to write a review its gotta be terrible.”

“**Update: the reply from them is complete BS, I sent them an email and they still have not replied. This further proves that they do not care about the tenants ** I do not recommend leasing from any buildings managed by this company. I attempted to get a hold of anyone in alpha Barnes to voice my complaint via email and calls. Nothing no reply, just sent to a voicemail time and time again. I am a tenant at prairie crossing... I do not recommend this this property anymore, the staff used to be good when I first moved in but not anymore. I am here only because I'm stuck in a lease and I have heard horror stories of them dragging your credit through the dirt bc of their processes to break the lease. The staff is RUDE, the property manager does not acknowledge it and instead blames the tenant. They have no customer service skills and never follow through. The automatic payment portal is a nightmare and I even had to call the police on the assistant manager bc of how I was treated. I felt like my safety was compromised, I bet the reply in the comments will just blame the tenant if they do reply. I do not trust anyone in the office and just keep to myself from now on and avoid interactions bc I am so afraid of their retaliation. Forget about reaching out the alpha Barnes the property management company bc they could careless about this complex. - the gym needs a bad update - the pool took months to open bc there was a part that was "broken" - the gate never works - everyone speeds through the parking lot - there have been multiple car break-ins - a police office supposedly lives on site but nothing is done about noise complaints and there is on going crime There are better properties out there, hundreds brand new. I do not recommend this place anymore.”

“It is completely mind blowing how unprofessional and disrespectful this management company is. You aren't a Real Estate Service company, you are slumlords who profit off of providing unlivable properties to renters. I moved into one of their "communities" April 30th and I have not had hot water one single day. Not to mention the unit as a whole was poorly prepped for move in (paint bubbling up, things not installed properly, the shower not working regardless of hot water). We put in a maintenance request the day we moved in and have been told we pretty much have to live with it. The supervisor (and her supervisor) refuse to contact me or my roommate back. We've taken all the legal, necessary steps to terminate our lease, but they refused to talk to us until after the 1st so that we would have to pay rent in order to have grounds to sue just to get our rent back for the month we lived there without hot water.”
