About

Bostech Services Inc runs an HVAC operation out of Garland that serves homeowners across the Dallas area. They keep regular weekday hours at their shop on Commercial Street and focus on residential heating and cooling work. The crew handles service calls for older systems that develop leaks, clogs, and electrical faults common in North Texas homes. Reviews note that techs show up to diagnose issues on units that have sat for years without proper upkeep. The company works on both repair and maintenance jobs where parts like capacitors or thermostats fail during peak summer months.

Their technicians address specific problems such as clogged drain lines that cause water backup, Freon leaks that reduce cooling output, exploded run capacitors that shut down compressors, and faulty thermostats that misread temperatures. Jason Gillman described repeated fixes on two old townhouse units over a year, while Tonya Roland credited Will Stroman with restoring her AC after a breakdown. Travis appears in multiple accounts for thorough diagnostics on site, though some customers like Maggie Stuart reported delays when parts were needed and water issues left unresolved on the first visit. Mr Michael noted a two-week wait for an incorrect Carrier part that required extra coordination to correct.

Customers give consistent feedback on speed and quality when the right tech arrives, with praise for clear explanations and a can-do approach on straightforward repairs, yet communication slips and part ordering problems pull the overall marks down. Price perceptions vary depending on whether the job finishes in one trip or requires callbacks. These patterns across the reviews produce the current standing. DIRT Score 2.75 from 18 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

The man Lee, came with no tools just looked at the faucets and said "that's why you don't use box store handles.ypure going to need a whole new setup." He said "it will be a few days before we can come back." And the water was dripping I asked to at least stop the drip and he said he can't. Then I hear nothing so I call my insurance and they say that bosstech said it was from misuse not normal wear and tear. How do you misuse a shower knob by simply turning the handle on and off. I'm sitting here with my water a steady drip and NOONE even called to let me know they are not coming back.

For the last year I have been using Bostech for my A/C needs. They have been fantastic. I have two rather old A/C units in my town house, and they have had several unrelated problems since I moved in (clogged drain lines, Freon leaks, exploded run caps, thermostat problems). Most recently it was discovered that the evaporator on the upstairs unit was leaking Freon everywhere. Travis was able to come out and replace the evaporator the same day I called. He spent essentially the entire day at my house and charged me exactly what was quoted. I had a different problem with that same unit's compressor not coming on, and Travis figured out that the Nest thermostat was not sending the low voltage signal up to the unit. I was able to get a new Nest directly from the manufacturer free of charge thanks to Travis's clever thinking and correct diagnosis. He also used a jumper to bypass the thermostat while I was waiting on the new Nest so I could stay cool upstairs. I have not had any problems since then with that unit, and it's been a couple months of summer-time temperatures! It's very easy to get a human on the phone when I call Bostech, and I definitely plan to stick with these guys for any future issues that arise. Highly recommend Travis - he's super knowledgeable and a good guy!

I did not get the chance to meet this gentleman, but I wanted to go on here and tell him thank you!!! Will Stroman! What an amazing job you did for us yesterday, thank you, sir! I appreciate all your hard work and for fixing our AC unit! I will be letting all my family and friends know about what an amazing job you did! Thank you, Bostech

These people are horrible!! After taking 2 weeks to order a part, #Bostech said the parts company (Carrier) sent the wrong part. I called #Carrier with the Bostech serviceman (Travis) still at my house to confirm. The Bostech serviceman (Travis) just did not order the correct part, and instead of taking responsibility, he blamed Carrier and made up a whole lie and story about what happened. The Bostech serviceman (Travis) then said it would take a few days to get the correct part, but Carrier told me that they spoke with Travis and Bostech that morning and the parts was available and in stock... just 4.7 miles from the Bostech office. Then Travis literally ran out of my house, having been caught in multiple lies and the owner of Bostech (Neil) will not answer or return calls. Meanwhile, it is 18 degrees outside, it has been two weeks with NO heat in my house due to this horrible company. It is currently the same temperature in my living room as it is in my refrigerator. Still no word from Bostech. Still no word from Neil. Still no heat in my house. Thank you Bostech. I hope you all find a nice warm place in hell.

I recently had Bostech to my home for a large-scale repair and I had a very positive experience. Scheduling was quick and they came at my convenience, I was advised who the tech was that would be coming, he listened very attentively to all my concerns before starting work, and the work was done quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Everything was reviewed and all my questions were answered after the service, I really appreciate the courtesy of the techs who did the work and will be using Bostech again!
