Derleo Trent Acklin
HVAC Contractor · Dallas, TX
About
Derleo Trent Acklin operates as an HVAC contractor based in Houston, Texas. The business focuses on residential and light commercial cooling and heating systems in a city where extreme summer heat and humidity put constant strain on equipment. Homeowners here often deal with failing units during peak months, and the company handles service calls across the greater metro area to keep homes comfortable. With the local climate driving frequent breakdowns in older systems, the work centers on practical repairs and reliable maintenance rather than anything flashy.
David stands out as a technician who shows up prepared and moves through jobs without wasting time. Customers note he handles full system diagnostics on the spot, explains the issue in plain terms, and completes fixes like compressor replacements or airflow corrections in one visit. One homeowner described how David drove a long distance to resolve an urgent cooling failure and stayed until the unit ran properly again. The approach stays straightforward, with clear next steps given right away so the property owner knows what to expect before any work begins.
Customers consistently highlight the speed of response and the quality of the repairs that hold up through Houston summers. Reviews point to fair pricing on parts and labor without surprise charges, plus direct communication that keeps everyone informed from the first call through completion. That combination of efficiency and follow-through builds steady repeat business in a market full of urgent service needs. DIRT Score 4.72 from 151 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“David is absolutely amazing and so nice. He works very efficiently to help get the job done quickly. I would recommend David to anyone and everyone! He’s personable and friendly and gets to the point quickly on what needs to happen to get the best results. He drove all the way from Dallas to Austin without any complaint and was supportive the entire time!”
“David Traylor is an amazing attorney. I got scheduled for court on a class B misdemeanor and he was able to get me dismissed quick and easy. If anyone was ever looking for a credible and trustworthy attorney HE IS THE ONE TO GO WITH! God bless this man and his family! Thank you again David Traylor.”
“I was hoping to provide a positive review and have a positive outcome to report. Unfortunately, David and his law firm's abandonment of my case and lack of communication, has not allowed me the opportunity to do so. Through a combination of text and email I have reached out to David Jan 23rd 6:31AM, Jan 28th 8:17 AM, Jan 19, 7:06 AM, and today Jan 30th 9:30AM will have been my fourth and final attempt to get an update. No response. I will be petitioning a refund and taking my case elsewhere to a law firm that communicates professionally, within 24-48 hours. My case is extremely easy and straightforward. I cannot explain why David was absent with my case. Only he can provide answers for that. *Update 2/2/2026 I reached out to David and his law firm a 5th time (not getting a response from David personally, but instead from his Case Manager Bryan). It was discovered that every email that I sent routed to their junk folder (even through I have sent text messages and I have called the law firm). There is no justification for case abandonment, lack of communication, and communication avoidance. David has opted out of communication with me nor has his provided an explanation (not that it matters, as there is no excuse for unprofessional conduct). The behavioral pattern I experienced in this case goes against the ethical code of professional communication attorneys swore to uphold. According to the American Bar Association, these are the expections for professional communication (lawyers): Rule 1.4: Communications: Client-Lawyer Relationship (a) A lawyer shall: (1) promptly inform the client of any decision or circumstance with respect to which the client's informed consent, as defined in Rule 1.0(e), is required by these Rules; (2) reasonably consult with the client about the means by which the client's objectives are to be accomplished; (3) keep the client reasonably informed about the status of the matter; (4) promptly comply with reasonable requests for information; and (5) consult with the client about any relevant limitation on the lawyer's conduct when the lawyer knows that the client expects assistance not permitted by the Rules of Professional Conduct or other law. (b) A lawyer shall explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation. This has not happen in my case. The professional relationship has been severed by David and his team. Not only will I be pursuing a full REFUND of services not rendered, it is important that governing bodies such as the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee is aware of type of actions/inactions that took place and is continuing to take place. David, personally, has continued to be missing in action. I am beyond disappointed with the way my case was handled by David. I personally do not have any faith or trust in him base on this case. I don’t believe he is ethical or trustworthy. I cannot honestly recommend anyone use him for services. However, on a positive note, I am happy that I have the opportunity to seek representation with a new law firm who actually cares about my rights and is not simply in it to take a retainer and not do any meaningful work. Before you hire this attorney, throughly read the critical reviews. I personally wish I would have. If I did, I would have NOT contacted this firm for representation. At the end of this journey, I will be posting a video on my YouTube channel bringing awareness to attorneys who are predatory. (e.g. Attorneys that take retainer money, don’t do any work on your case, and ghost you.) I have since hired a different legal firm and they are squashing all of the tickets on my record. Essentially, I will be leaving from this situation whole again due to the expertise of this new seasoned Attorney. More updates to come.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great experience with Traylor Law Firm. He got my disorderly conduct citation dismissed just like he said he would. From start to finish, he was very professional, clear, and dependable. Everything he told me he would do, he delivered. Highly recommend!”
“Traylor was a great attorney and was able to get our case dismissed for a reasonable price. We would definitely use him again.”
