Green Earth Heat And Air
HVAC Contractor · Dallas, TX
About
Green Earth Heat And Air operates out of Dallas, Texas as an HVAC contractor handling residential heating and cooling work. The company fields calls for service on systems that stop cooling or make unusual noises, and they accept referrals through home warranty programs. Technicians respond to issues with outside condensers, inside blower motors, and units that fail during peak summer heat. They provide quotes for part replacements and system troubleshooting when homeowners contact them through warranty channels or direct lines. Local weather in Dallas puts heavy demand on air conditioning, so crews often deal with urgent calls when temperatures climb past one hundred degrees and indoor comfort breaks down fast.
Customers have described specific jobs where the company was sent to replace an outside condenser after it stopped working, only to report long backorder delays on parts and then lose track of the claim status. Other calls involved troubleshooting an AC unit that would not cool properly, leading to a full outside unit swap that left follow-up work unfinished. One homeowner noted a technician listening to blower noise recordings but missing the motor bearing problem that failed just days later. Appointments scheduled between set windows often saw no arrival, with repeated calls and voicemails going unanswered during the first week of school or after hot weekends. These accounts mention the company taking payment for units that were installed without completing the full repair.
Reviews show repeated shortfalls in communication when customers tried to check on parts or schedule returns, along with quality issues where problems were misdiagnosed or left unresolved. Speed suffered when promised callbacks never happened and warranty claims stalled for weeks. Price concerns arose after large payments for replacements that did not fix the original complaint. The pattern across the ten reviews points to unreliable follow-through on common Dallas HVAC repairs like condenser swaps and blower fixes. DIRT Score 0.68 from 10 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“These guys came out to our home referred by Choice Home Warranty. The tech stated that an outside condenser needed to be replaced, stated that the part was on back order for 6-7 weeks and submitted the claim to Choice. After a few weeks, started calling them to check on the status since I have been w/out AC for 3.5 weeks now. Would not return phone calls, texts, or any communication. After contacting Choice (which has been terrific and highly recommended) they are sending out a new company. I advised Choice to remove this company from their vendor list since they are not a reputable company for Choice or us as a consumer. When we talked to choice, we found out that Green Earth lied to them by stating that the technician quit and that is why they haven't been able to help. Not true since the tech stated that he was a family member of the owner. Even so, as a company you still need to service your customer as committed. With no communication, being lied to, avoided, and mis-lead up front I would NEVER recommend doing business with these folks... UPDATE: The owner responded referring to a tech named Michael, however, Michael was never at our house. The tech that came to see us was Jeremy. We still have his information. A new company came out today to inspect the issue. After charging the system with Nitrogen to check for a leak, we found that the condenser isn't the issue at all, it is the Coil that has a leak. This is obvious as we could hear the leak and then when we plugged it with our finger the leak stopped. We are now starting the time line over again and we are thankful that there appears to be a solution.”
“Absolute scam artist. Stole $3,000 from us and will not return multiple phone call, texts, and Facebook messages. Choice Home Warranty sent them to troubleshoot our AC that would not cool and these crooks talked us into an outside unit. When they replaced the outside unit they promised to return to replace two faulty parts on the upstairs unit. No return trip, no attempt to return phone calls, or messages. When we spoke with Choice Home Warranty they said Green Earth said your fan was seized and that’s why you have no coverage and the outside unit had to be replaced. Again not true, the fan was spinning freely and upon a second opinion we were scammed. Plus to top it all off, there is now a burning smell coming from the AC and we have a truly reputable company coming out tomorrow. Stay away from these clowns and, trust me, stay away from Home Choice Warranty.”
“My home warranty made an appointment with them to come out to fix my AC after the hottest weened of the summer 108 degrees!! The appointment was made between 11am and 3pm. I called the guy twice asking about what time he would be here, left 2 voicemails. It was the first day of school! I call my home warranty company at 3:05 to ask them about the no call no show. They said they got a hold of him and he said would be there sometime before 8pm. I then look up the Green Earth Home Comfort company and read some reviews 😳 I quickly called my home warranty back and told them to book another company to fix my AC. I get a phone call at 5pm, and it was Green Earth Home Comfort asking if anyone was home before he headed out to fix our AC. As politely as I could told him we no longer needed his company because of their lack of communication and terrible reviews. This guy proceeds to try to INSULT ME! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!”
“WATCH OUT FOR GREEN EARTH HEAT AND AIR! This review belongs to them. ("Technician" didn't seem to know what to look for even after playing 2 audio files of noise coming from my inside blower. I asked specifically about motor bearings and he said they were fine. Four days later the blower motor bearings seized. The guy told me he could write up the invoice to include enough items so I could maybe get Choice Home Warranty to pay $900 and apply that to a new furnace. Sounded a lot like insurance fraud to me. Based on this guy I'd have to say this is a dishonest company. "Technician" didn't know I was a trained A/C Technician and knew as much if not more than he did.) NEW REVIEW: Green Earth Home Comfort technician took less than a minute to identify a bad capacitor on the blower motor, something the Green Earth Heat and Air guy completely missed. Entire job took less than 10 minutes and my system is running as well as it was before. One happy, cool customer.”
“Would not recommend using. They came to diagnose our unit and instead of actually looking for what the reason was for it leaking, they just put the coil had physical damage, which it was not leaking from the coil. We got a second opinion and that tech was able to find the leak within 2 minutes using water/soap mixture. When I called to let them know what it was and that now my insurance claim isn't going through due to misdiagnosis they said they wouldn't go back on what the tech had already written up even if he was wrong. They told me to pay for a second opinion. Also the numbers they give you on the invoice do not work. No one will answer and the voicemail is always full. I had to google the phone number and they are so professional when they answer they just say hello instead of letting you know the businesses name. I had to verify I was talking to the correct people.”
