“Contractor made a judgement call with our home warranty service that required a second opinion. Blake had misplaced a cap, removed cooling fins from the coil, and left the unit partially disassembled. When the next contactor showed up to deliver a second opinion the missing parts and damage to the cooling fins of the coil, resulted in a determination that the corroded parts including the condenser unit built in 1980's had failed due to unnatural wear and tear. Take caution to inspect your units after it is reported that worry has concluded. They were contracted out by American home shield so maybe the over priced tag is unwarranted. I'll remove it. I am however attaching a video that clearly shows no fastener was in the unit when the leak was occurring which also shows the fins were in tag along with the cage. Also if management would like to inspect the unit, they'll see that no puncture of any kind exists currently from any nail/fastener. Why would your guy do this?”
