Longhorn Mechanical, Inc
HVAC Contractor · Dallas, TX
About
Longhorn Mechanical, Inc operates out of Dallas and focuses on commercial HVAC work across the DFW area. They handle heating, ventilation, and air conditioning for school districts, assisted living facilities, and apartment complexes, along with plumbing and electrical needs. With over twenty years in the business they take on new construction projects as well as renovations in Texas and nearby states. Their crews stick to plan and spec or design build jobs for hotels, multi family buildings, retail spots, and offices. Homeowners and property managers in North Texas deal with heavy summer loads on cooling systems and occasional winter freezes that hit older units hard, so steady commercial service keeps those buildings running without constant breakdowns.
Their teams show up for straightforward fixes like tracking down hard to find parts that never turn up at the big box stores. William Evans has helped customers locate odd components on short notice while Drew Brenner walked a caller through a diaphragm replacement for an old Richdel sprinkler setup after the usual spots came up empty. John Brundige noted crews went out of their way to sort a mis shipped load at the dock and stayed helpful until the shipper decided what to do. Even when a riding mower bagging system needed swapping they attempted the change though it failed again on first use and required another visit. These jobs mix HVAC and plumbing parts support with quick phone help that keeps small repairs moving.
Customers often mention solid communication when crews answer calls fast and know their stock, plus decent speed on locating items that save trips across town. Quality holds up on basic part swaps and hospitality shows through in how they handle extra requests, though price complaints and repeat issues on some fixes pull the overall mark down. Some jobs finish clean while others need follow ups that frustrate owners. DIRT Score 3.43 from 21 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I showed up a little early, straight to the dock. These are some of the best people to deal with! I have some product mistakenly shipped here. These folks have done everything imaginable to help me. While the shipper makes a decision, these folks have been amazingly hospitable. I would deliver here any time. Drivers, no overnight parking unless you want to take your chances on the street.”
“Will help u locate all those parts that cant be found at local homw depots”
“When our Hustler riding mower was delivered, the bagging system was broken. We wanted our money back or have the bagging system changed to a mulching system. They said they had a fix for the system so we let them switch it out. It broke again the first time we used it. They came back out and picked up the mower to fix and and when they returned it, it was missing parts and other parts were broken. We paid to have it fixed again (even though it should be in warranty) and when it was returned this time, they had only replaced the missing parts and had not fixed the broken parts. They are refusing to fix the broken parts because they say we only paid to replace the missing parts. So now we have a broken mower that should still be in warranty that they are refusing to fix even though they broke it in the first place and we paid them to fix it. Do not buy anything from here; they will cheat you.”
“I went to a few regular hardware stores to try and find a replacement diaphragm for a very old Richdel sprinkler system. The regulars of Lowes and Home Depot didnt have them but Longhorn definitely did. I called and the guy on the phone was very nice and knowledgeable, and he was very quick to help me when I arrived at the store. The prices were very good as well, cheaper than diaphragms were at the other hardware stores. I will definitely go back if I need more sprinkler parts.”
“Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Took the time to give me step by step installation instructions, and I only spent $12 on parts. Great help for a DIY person.”
