About

Mk Homewerks works out of Dallas on HVAC ventilation and air movement gear for homes across the city. The local weather hits hard with long stretches of summer heat followed by quick winter drops that stress exhaust fans and their controls day after day. This crew sticks to the practical side of the trade where switches and fans wear out from regular use or after power cuts hit the area. Homeowners call when parts fail and they want direct repairs instead of big system changes that cost more than needed. They focus on bathroom fan setups and related controls that connect into home fixtures, keeping things running without unnecessary replacements.

They take on jobs such as swapping wall switches for Bluetooth bathroom fans when blackouts knock out both fan and light functions at once. After a storm hit one customer the team located the part under warranty and shipped a new unit without delay. Other calls come from people who installed a fan bought at the store only to find it would not start because the switch was bad from the start, sometimes needing an electrician to confirm the issue. The same team handles follow ups on replacement parts for leaking fixtures tied into those ventilation setups though response times shift when the first fix does not hold, as seen with button covers on switches that needed quick swaps after years of use.

Feedback stays mixed on how quick parts show up and how cleanly issues get closed out with some noting fast email replies and shipments while others run into weeks of waiting on leaks with little follow through. Speed and communication land uneven across the jobs which pulls the overall mark down. DIRT Score 3.15 from 36 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

Great Customer Service! After a blackout our switch controlling the Homewerks fan/bluetooth, and light, went out, I tried searching online to buy a replacement to no avail, after contacting homewerks, I came to find out that the part was under warranty and they sent me a unit right away. Needless to say, I am one happy customer and thankful for a company that takes care of their customers!

Purchased the Bluetooth unit from Home Depot. I'm thinking the box was a returned item but seemed to be okay. I Installed the fan and switch according to the instructions but fan would not turn on. Had issues getting fan to work so I called my friend who is an electrician. Found switch to be bad since fan checked out ohm wise. Call customer service and explained my situation and the Rep sent me a new switch swiftly. Once switch arrived I installed it and IT WORKS GREAT!!!! Thanks for following through with your customers. I am happy with the product and excellent customer service. Thanks Michael S

After using the replacement part they sent, my faucet is still leaking. They said they would send a replacement within 2 weeks. It has been more than 2 weeks so I followed up via email. The response I received has been added to photos. Incredibly deceptive and unprofessional company that provides subpar products with a “warranty” that they do not stand behind.

I had purchased a Bluetooth speaker bathroom fan a while back. It's been working great but the button covering of the wall switch needed to be replaced. I emailed Homewerks about getting a replacement wall switch and got a prompt response to my email. They were able to send me a replacement part shortly after.

Bought Homewerks bathroom fan, Bluetooth speaker from Home Depot. Switch was acting up. Home Depot exchanged just switch.. to my demise I threw away switch by accident before installing. Contacted Homewerks to find out that switch and grille/head unit are synced.. they as a courtesy are sending me switch and grille free of charge. Thank you Homewerks for standing behind your products! Much appreciated
