Ml Riggs Inc.
HVAC Contractor · Dallas, TX
About
M.L. Riggs Inc operates out of Grand Prairie right in the Dallas area as a warm air heating and air conditioning contractor. The outfit has run for roughly 31 years with a crew of five people handling the steady flow of HVAC calls that come from local homes. They also answer to the name R and R Air Conditioning Service Company and keep their shop at 1209 E Jefferson St ready for whatever the Texas weather throws at residential systems. Homeowners around Dallas count on outfits like this to keep units running when summer heat builds and systems start straining.
Their work covers custom fabrication and repair jobs that come through the door or get dropped off. One customer needed a trailer welded up and got squeezed in fast with solid results at a fair cost plus extra help unhooking an old crank jack. Another dropped off parts for a spare tire carrier on an old truck and walked away with it finished ahead of schedule along with useful suggestions on the build. A radiator job came in for a 1 1/2 inch inlet weld that required a second pass after initial pinholes showed up yet the crew still took it on. Customers mention leaving machinery or parts with clear instructions and getting the work back done right without extra delays or inflated bills.
Folks keep coming back because the crew moves quick on jobs that land in the shop and sticks to honest pricing that does not surprise anyone. Quality holds up on the finished pieces whether it is a weld or a full build and communication stays straightforward from drop off to pickup. The one low mark came from a radiator weld that needed extra time but the rest of the feedback points to reliable turnaround and fair dealings overall. DIRT Score 4.4 from 46 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“We needed a trailer welded and the got us in right away. Quality work and a very reasonable price. One of the guys in the back saw we had an old crank jack on the trailer and they came out to help us unhook even.”
“They do a pretty good job. I drop off parts/machinery, tell them what I want done, they have it done before deadline, done correctly, and at a reasonable cost. They recently built a spare tire carrier for my old truck and had some good ideas.”
“I love this place and the work I’ve had done was great. But the staff has it going, friendly and efficient.”
“Would not recommend using their fab shop, I left a radiator with them to weld a 1 1/2” inlet on to which they said they could get it done. The first time they sent it out of the shop “done” it had visual pinholes around the weld, I took it back for them to “fix it” and after another day was told to come pick it up that is was done and “pressure tested”. Once I hooked it up and filled it with water after their second attempt to weld the inlet tube on the pinholes they covered with slag poured out water. On top of that they managed to drop all kinds of slag into the radiator itself and decided to leave it. After a phone call with the shop manager he offered to “try and fix it again”. I soldered it myself I will not be wasting anymore of my time with them.”
“My boss had a chip spreader installed on his 5500 Silverado dump truck awesome job was done”
