“Mr. Freeze is one of the most fun and genuinely scary rides at Six Flags. The launch is intense, the speed is insane, and it’s the kind of coaster that still gives you that adrenaline rush every single time. My only real issue is reliability. Sometimes it breaks down and you’ll have people stuck waiting for hours just for nothing to happen, which is frustrating. Also, it used to start backwards, and they changed that, which takes away a little bit of what made it feel so unique. Still, when it’s running, it’s absolutely worth riding.”

“This is a great launch coaster. It uses one of the older technologies and occasionally has maintenance issues. Additionally, they've been running 1 train ops at times this summer. The ride was at its best when there were two trains: one forward and one backward. This ride is worth visiting with a fast lane or before lines grow long.”

“The ride is incredible and considerably faster than its counterpart at the Six Flags St. Louis park. One side has returned to launch forward, but that side was not open when I rode it. The unfortunate part of this ride is the cue with no air conditioning. Particularly brutal on a hot Texas day. The ride op on the microphone making annoying sounds adds to the agony of waiting in line. With only one side open I would probably not want to wait in this line very often.”
