“Amazing price ($200 season pass) all in vehicle free entry and cheap sites only 4x4 can go to so very secluded and quiet. Crystal clear water for snorkeling. Life time fire ban but portable generator is perfect for hot plate cooking.”

“Great place to camp. Only $10. Very easy to pay. beautiful views. Good privacy, each camp site has its own little section so it's not crowded. There is alot of trash but not the parks fault it's the people that stay here. Each table has 2 trash cans so it makes no sense. Also majority of the camp sites has 1 trail or more that leads to the water.”

“The boat dock has still not been repaired which is very typical for this lake, to say that they are very slow to fix things is an understatement. The RV camping is good though, 4 stars for camping.”

“We are traveling across country and had to find a place for the night. We happened upon lake Allen Henry and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived about an hour before sunset and the campground was empty. We grabbed a spot right on the lake and settled in for the night. It was kind of eerie being the only ones in the park but it was cool at the same time. Very nice campsites with power except our water did not work. The only negative I could say is for the $20 it cost to spend the night, charging quarters to take a shower seemed a little excessive. Other than that we love the place and wish we could stay longer. Our dog was happy that she could swim. I saw on another review that someone complained about the trash. There is a bit blowing around but I think that is due to the high winds in this area. It seems like this whole area has a lot of plastic bags and bottles blowing around, the wind has been high lately blowing over 25 mph. By the way there is cell phone reception in the park.”
