About
G-Pro Mechanical runs as a licensed HVAC contractor right out of Houston, Texas, covering the full metro area and Harris County neighborhoods. They focus on residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning jobs, staying active with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The crew handles the everyday breakdowns that hit hard in this climate, from units freezing up during peak summer humidity to compressors quitting when the heat index spikes. Homeowners often call them after other outfits push for full replacements, since these technicians trace problems back to bad prior installs and get the existing equipment running again without the big price tag. They stay ready for same-day calls during heat advisories and step in for heating fixes when winter fronts roll through and systems act up unexpectedly.
Technicians like Dakota show up on time for regular servicing and keep units in shape, while others handle bigger jobs such as swapping an electric heat setup for a gas furnace and running extra gas lines to support a dryer install. One crew member named Cory figured out a tricky install with no instructions and got everything locked in place. Another project involved setting up a mini split to support solar battery work, and Kat Esposito brought them in for multiple HVAC repairs that led to a full new system at a solid price with the work done even on after-hours calls. Carolyn handles the scheduling side so jobs line up without long waits, and the team keeps things moving on both routine maintenance and emergency fixes across older refrigerant systems still common in Houston homes.
Customers keep coming back because the work shows up on time, stays thorough without shortcuts, and lands at fair prices that beat the bigger outfits. Homeowners note how easy it is to reach someone for scheduling and how the crew explains what went wrong and what got fixed, whether it is a prompt service call or an after-hours repair. That mix of speed on urgent jobs, solid quality on installs like furnaces and mini splits, and straightforward communication builds steady repeat business. DIRT Score 4.78 from 36 reviews on Finds.

“The installation was done quickly and professionally. The workers were friendly and ensured they cleaned up everything. Truly impressive work and Jay answered all my questions and explained everything to me! The new HVAC system is wonderful and I can adjust the temperature via Alexa or on my phone!”

“I must commend this company. My AC went out and they assisted me in changing the unit out. Yaz was my initial contact. Not only a true professional but a very nice person. The crew that arrived at our house (led by Nick) was exceptional. Clean, prompt and meticulous—they arrived early and finished early, I give them my highest recommendations!!”
“My A/C went out over the weekend and they answered my call immediately and were there to fix it Monday morning! It was a quick fix and I got signed up with the maintenance package to make sure we’re in good shape going forward. They came back to do the maintenance the very next day. Really happy with the quick response and great service!”
“I am extremely disappointed with our experience with this company and would strongly caution others—especially elderly homeowners—to do their homework before doing business with them. My mother is an elderly widow who had lost her husband only two and a half months before this occurred. Representatives from a company in partnership with them came to her home despite a clearly posted "No Soliciting" sign and remained there for nearly three hours, pressuring her into a sale. At the time, my mother already had a brand-new HVAC system that had been installed less than two months earlier, the day after my father passed away. She informed the sales representatives that the system was new. I was also on the phone with the salesperson and specifically instructed them not to proceed with anything until all documentation had been sent to me for review. The salesperson heard this instruction directly. Despite that, they moved forward anyway. When questioned about why a system that was only weeks old needed to be replaced, the explanation provided was that they "didn't know it was brand new." That response is difficult to understand. My mother told them it was new, and any HVAC professional should know how to determine the age of a system by inspecting the equipment and serial numbers. Recommending replacement of a nearly new system without confirming its age raises serious concerns about the sales process. What is most troubling is that this sale involved an elderly woman who was still grieving the loss of her husband. Rather than taking extra care to ensure she fully understood the situation and allowing family members to review the information, the company proceeded with a costly replacement and financing arrangement. We are currently seeking answers and reviewing our legal options. I would encourage anyone considering doing business with this company to obtain independent opinions, carefully review all documentation, and involve trusted family members before signing anything.”
