About

Reynolds Heat N Air Llc handles HVAC work across Dallas and Dallas County. They focus on air conditioning and heating repairs for homes and rental properties where summer heat and sudden breakdowns hit hard. Scott Reynolds runs the operation and shows up for calls that other shops turn down. Homeowners in the area deal with units failing at odd hours and need someone who knows the local weather demands without dragging things out. The crew sticks to straightforward fixes on existing systems rather than pushing full replacements every time.

They take on emergency AC repairs when units quit in the middle of the night or on holidays like the Fourth of July. Scott Reynolds has driven out right away after multiple other companies said they would get there the next day. On regular jobs he performs tune ups that include checking the whole system and walking owners through simple maintenance steps to keep things running longer and cheaper. For rental portfolios the team shows up fast, quotes prices up front, and completes the work without cutting corners or adding surprise charges. Customers note he resolved issues in about thirty minutes on some calls and left the unit cooling properly after one visit.

Homeowners keep coming back because the response times stay quick even on peak summer days and the work holds up without callbacks. Reviews highlight fair pricing that avoids the usual upsells plus clear updates on when the tech will arrive and what the total will run. Quality comes through in honest assessments that skip unnecessary parts and focus on what actually broke. That steady record on speed, straight talk, and solid results builds the trust for repeat business in Dallas. DIRT Score 4.67 from 24 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

If I could give more than five stars, I would. My AC failed around midnight on July 4th, and the owner himself, Scott Reynolds, came out immediately when five other AC repair companies told me: “We’ll get to you when we can over the next day or so.” That alone impressed me, but what happened next was even more remarkable. He took the time to methodically troubleshoot the system instead of guessing or trying to sell me unnecessary parts. He identified multiple failure points and, because the parts suppliers wouldn't be open until Monday, he came up with a temporary solution using a universal control board and a RESCUE blower motor just to keep my 80-year-old mother and me cool over the holiday weekend. He was at my house from 1:00 AM until 5:30 AM on the July 4th holiday weekend, leaving only briefly to drive home and retrieve a mounting bracket he needed for the temporary motor. I couldn't believe his commitment to making sure we wouldn't be without air conditioning in triple-digit temperatures. He returned Monday with the brand-specific (Carrier) control board, installed it, tested my original variable-speed blower motor before removing anything unnecessarily, and continued working carefully and systematically until everything was operating correctly. What impressed me just as much was that he looked beyond simply fixing the immediate problem. He modified the condensate drain by installing a rubber boot to raise the water level so the float switch will activate if the line ever clogs again—at no additional charge. He also recommended inexpensive battery-powered water sensors to provide an extra layer of protection in case a future leak occurs. Throughout the entire process, he explained exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, what each component does, and what my options were. I never felt rushed, pressured, or kept in the dark. It's rare to find someone who combines technical expertise, honesty, fairness, and genuine concern for their customers the way he does. He wasn't just repairing an air conditioner—he was solving problems, preventing future ones, and making sure I understood everything along the way. I recommend Reynolds Heat-N-Air without hesitation. They have earned my trust, and they'll be the first company I call for any HVAC work in the future.

Summer in Texas. AC went out. I called 8-9 other places. No dice. One call to Scott, he was at my house 30 mins later and issue was resolved. Taught me good maintenance tips to help increase the longevity of my unit AND get it working more efficiently. I asked him if he had more calls he said I was the last one (it was almost 11 pm). I asked why he did the late calls as the owner, he told me this (after hours) is the most frustrating time for people to get AC help so he stays up after his employees go home and does a few more calls. This guys is the best. Great company. They do commercial and larger scale jobs too! Holler at em.
