About

Rustys Crash Site Heating & Air works out of Dallas, Texas, where they focus on HVAC repairs and maintenance for homes dealing with heavy summer loads and occasional winter cold snaps. Homeowners call them when units break down or need straightforward fixes instead of big replacement pitches. The crew handles air conditioning and heating systems across the city, showing up with tools ready to sort out pressure problems, worn parts, and poor setups that other outfits might overcomplicate or overprice.

They perform tune-ups that keep systems running longer, give honest quotes after checking the full job, and handle custom work like building stands or shifting units to better spots on the house. Technicians such as Dean lay out costs clearly and beat higher bids from competitors, while Blake arrives on schedule, explains each step during service, and treats the property with care. Richard has teamed with Dean on bigger adjustments, including moving equipment out of sight lines and fabricating supports so everything sits stable and out of the way. These jobs often fix what started as expensive diagnoses elsewhere, like pressure faults or coil concerns on units just a few years old.

Customers keep coming back because the pricing stays fair even when the work list grows, the assessments avoid unnecessary upsells, and the techs communicate clearly about what broke and why. Service runs quick without cutting corners, and the results hold up through Dallas heat. DIRT Score 5.0 from 687 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

We had another A/C company come out and diagnose our unit, but the repair quote seemed much higher than we expected. Wanting to compare prices, we reached out to Rusty's AC, and we're so glad we did. Dean was friendly, honest, and gave us a much more reasonable quote. He was also able to get a technician, Blake, out to our house the very same day. Blake was professional, knowledgeable, and nice. He got our A/C cooling again with a temporary solution while we waited for the replacement part to arrive, which made a huge difference in this heat. From start to finish, the team at Rusty's AC was quick, respectful, and reasonably priced. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Rusty's AC and will definitely use them again for any future HVAC needs!

The whole process with Rusty's was flawless! They got me in right away. The tech Blake showed up right on time and was very kind, respectful and courteous to me and my home. He made sure to show me what he was doing and what needed to be repaired during the tune up to make my AC last and be more efficient. Blake explained things thoroughly, but also in a way that I would understand them. He cleaned up after himself. All in all it was a great experience. I 100% will use Rusty's again and refer others to them!

I had Dean and Richard two of Rusty’s techs come out about a week ago to give a quote. I received 4 quotes from 4 different hvac contractors. Rusty’s had the best price and oddly enough had the most work to do . They had to fabricate a stand moved the unit back so it’s not as visible on the house from the front view and added ductwork to accommodate this. Dean and Richard both were very upfront and honest about the entire process. During the install they troubleshot and helped my son diagnose a bad breaker in our electrical panel as well. These two guys were nothing less that outstanding in there tools. I would absolutely recommend Rusty’s specifically Dean and Richard for any of your HVAC needs. Best regards and loyal customer moving forward Lloyd Mason

We’ve all had days that went bad to worse before. But today, my day went from bad to INCREDIBLE. We had our HVAC company out to do the normal maintenance. Was told there was a problem with the pressure and that we needed to replace the coils and coolant at a cost of $6100.00. The unit is only 7 years old, so that cost was all labor and coolant as the part is under warranty. I told them I was going to get a 2nd opinion. My wife had called and said that her hair dresser just had a guy come out recently and was magnificent. So I called Rusty’s Air Conditioning and Heating. I called them after 4pm and Richard arrived at my house within the hour. I explained the situation and he went out to check the pressure. He asked that I come with him. He then explained the unit was a bit low on coolant, but not serious. According to the specs on our unit, the pressure should be 10.3 with a plus or minus of 3. My unit read 7.7. So within standards. He added some coolant and all is well. I did sign up for their maintenance program because it is well within reason. So now I can say good bye to our old company as their service has changed drastically to the worse since they were bought out by a big company. Thank you Richard for your honesty and transparency in handling our concern.

I wanted to share my great experience with Rusty’s. The two technicians, Blake and Claude, that arrived at my home were professional and courteous from the beginning. They put out a carpet and also put booties over their shoes. I was without air for 24 hours, so I was definitely a mess, but they quickly got to work and fixed the issue within minutes. They went above and beyond to help me and quickly. I’m so grateful. They were wonderful to work with and I am going to be referring anyone who needs A/C service to them. Also, Debbie in their office was great too! Thank you, Blake and Claude! You’re amazing humans.
