About

United Caterers Inc operates as an HVAC provider serving the Dallas area from its base in nearby Grand Prairie. The company focuses on heating and cooling work for industrial sites, manufacturing plants, construction jobsites, and commercial buildings throughout the region. Background details show roots in Texas mobile operations that started in the 1950s with cold trucks serving factories and later expanded to hot trucks equipped with full kitchen elements like griddles and fryers by the late 1990s. These vehicles support daily routes that can reach hundreds of customers while dealing with the demands of Dallas heat and traffic. The setup allows quick response to HVAC needs at offices, schools, and downtown locations where interruptions cost time and money.

Customers have reported issues with the way trucks are driven on highways and one way streets, including cases where liquid poured from the back during travel, sudden lane changes without signals that forced other drivers to brake hard, and near collisions that nearly caused rear end accidents. One review from Antonio Caro noted a food truck stop near Parkland where the service drew big crowds and items came packaged fresh with options for everyone. Other feedback from Pat Smith, Travis Pearson, and Christina Ray highlighted concerns over employee driving habits on routes that serve commercial and industrial stops. The company handles jobs that involve maintaining equipment on moving units and responding to calls from vocational schools and manufacturing plants.

Homeowners and site managers in Dallas often mention the need for fast fixes during peak summer months when systems fail under heavy use, along with clear explanations of costs and reliable follow up on repairs. Reviews show mixed results on speed and communication during service calls, with some praise for quality of work at busy locations and questions about price value when issues like driving problems occur on the way to jobs. The company maintains steady volume across 61 reviews despite these points. DIRT Score 3.48 from 61 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say

They were dumping something liquid out of their truck the whole way down the highway. Lots of liquid just pouring out of the whole back of the truck.

Do you hire people with drivers license? No blinker, cut across 2 lanes and almost hit me. Teach your employees better or hire a driver because whoever is driving this truck needs to be fired.

I’ve never tasted their food and don’t care to but I’m writing on behalf of their horrible driving. Their vehicle pulled out in front of me and crossed all lanes while I was traveling on a one way and I had to slam on my brakes which I’m turned almost caused the person behind me to rear end me. Drive better especially in a company vehicle because it’s a poor look. That’s all.

The Food Truck outside of Parkland is like fighting in a mosh pit everyone wants a taste. And they package everything so professionally. Everything is fresh and delicious a little of something for everyone! Give them a Raise!!!!

Amazing and a very supportive team, they always help us out whenever they can.
