“When our A/C condenser finally bit the dust, we called White Rock Air Conditioning & Heating on the recommendation of a friend who had used their services and offered a glowing review about the owner, Jimmy. He personally came to the residence to diagnose the issue and we were extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and honesty. Jimmy never pressured toward replacing the system. He took well over an hour to thoroughly troubleshoot the problem, isolating components and tracing wires back to each piece of the machinery to diagnose the issue and to be certain of which component had failed. He was optimistic about getting the system going and, failing that, about effecting a successful repair that could potentially save us thousands. Despite the system's age of 15 years, he said many systems still have a lot of good life in them. He explained what he was finding at each step, and discussed both repair and replacement options. Throughout the process, it felt like he was genuinely trying to help make the best decision instead of automatically trying to sell the full replacement option. Ultimately, we did choose another company for the replacement due to a difference in price for a similar replacement system. It wasn't a wild difference, and we felt Jimmy's estimates were fairly priced (and even a beat some other estimates by a few thousand dollars). But the decision was based solely on cost and not on the quality of Jimmy's service.
