“I asked Luke to give me an estimate on replacing my 28 y.o. HVAC system figuring it was living on borrowed time and hoping to get it installed before the peak heat of summer. Luke, after a thorough inspection of my old furnace/condenser and a discussion of my needs sent an estimate that best utilized my existing flue pipe and A/C line set, which kept the cost down to a very reasonable number. Well, the summer heat wave came early and I had to wait a while before Luke could fit me in. My A/C was still working and Luke was prioritizing clients who had failed systems. The wait was worth it, I got Luke’s righthand man Bret and his crew of Joe and Dominic. I got to hang with the 3 of them as they disassembled and carted away my old stuff and installed the new. All three of the guys are skilled techs who were happy to display their work and educate me about how the new A/C refrigerants work. The job took about 6 hours from start to finish, the crew left my place as clean as they found it and I’m enjoying my new A/C which uses about half as much electricity as my old one. As contractors go, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in 41 years of home ownership. Highly recommended! The photos are of Bret brazing on new copper to the existing old copper line set, then adding refrigerant and analyzing the performance of the system, Bret and Dominic loading up the old condenser and furnace in their truck and a beauty shot of my newly installed outside A/C condenser.”
