He was very punctual, communicated clearly throughout the process, and was honest about the work that needed to be done. I really appreciated his professionalism and reliability. The pricing did feel a little higher than I expected, but I’m not a certified plumber, so I understand that quality repairs and expertise come at a cost. “Chris came out & scoped my main sewer line from the house to the septic tank & then back to the house with a brightly lit camera on a snake as I watched the video. He really took his time showing me every anomaly and explained everything to my satisfaction. He didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. He is just the type of honest plumber I was hoping for. They make a video after the initial run & email to you, with voice over at the time explaining everything so you can compare & remember later. “Though not entirely their fault, I feel like I was substantially overcharged for the service provided. I called them to do a backflow test of my sprinkler system (required by city). I have had it done before by different companies and never paid more than $150. Figuring it would be the same I had Total Plumbing do it, but did not ask what the price would be (my fault). After performing the test (which takes about 15 minutes) I got the bill for $353. Completely unreasonable amount for the work performed in my opinion.”
