About
Desert Air Heating And Cooling runs their HVAC operations from El Paso, Texas. They take care of residential and commercial properties with heating, cooling, and refrigeration services. The area sees extreme temperatures that put heavy demands on air conditioners and heaters throughout the year. Homeowners and business owners call them when systems fail or need upgrades, and the company keeps things straightforward with clear options instead of high-pressure tactics. Their focus stays on getting the job done right the first time in local conditions where the heat can shut down equipment without warning.
Customers reach out to Desert Air for jobs like installing new rooftop units when old ones quit or when other outfits quote too high. Omar handles inspections on broken air conditioners, checks everything thoroughly, and lays out repair costs versus full replacement so folks can decide without confusion. He shows up on time, explains the situation in plain terms, and finishes the work efficiently whether it's a simple fix or a bigger swap out. The same approach applies to commercial refrigeration needs around town, with the crew sticking to schedules and avoiding extra charges for basic explanations of what went wrong.
People keep coming back because Omar and the crew deliver honest assessments without trying to upsell or scare anyone into big bills. They show up when promised, work fast to restore comfort, and charge what makes sense for the work. The explanations cover every option so customers understand the choices before anything starts. That steady reliability in both small repairs and larger installs builds trust across El Paso. DIRT Score 5.0 from 86 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“I've stayed at the hotel twice in the last couple of weeks while traveling out to west texas and I absolutely love this gem of a motel out in Sanderson, TX. Everything is awesome. The grounds are beautiful with trees and tons of birds, it is very quiet and peaceful, they have a nice pool, a school bus turned into complementary breakfast space with roof top sitting to view the area. Close by hiking trails that take you up the mountain where you can view the entire town. Jess, the manager, is super nice and very helpful and knowledgable about the area. Sanderson is a really nice and relaxing escape from the city. I look forward to coming back soon!”
“We stayed in the house and it was great. Very clean, everything worked great and beds were very comfortable. The pool was amazing. We were here for the highschool graduation and this town is very friendly. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who may need to come here. We walked around the grounds of the property and everything was clean and well kept.”
“Vintage is the word they use to describe this motel, but quirky and quaint are also appropriate. What a nice surprise to find this little gem along my route. It was clean and comfortable and the desk clerk was so helpful.”
“Desert Air Motel in Sanderson was a comfortable and convenient place to stay while traveling through the area. The motel had a simple, quiet feel, and the location on West Oak Street was easy to find. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the basics needed for a good night’s rest. I liked that free Wi-Fi and parking were available, which made the stay more practical. It is not a fancy hotel, but it felt dependable, peaceful, and well suited for a short stop or overnight stay in Sanderson.”
“This motel exemplified the best kind of simplicity while providing a safe, clean and comfortable place to stay overnight. Additionally, it had a ton of personality! There is even a liquor store on site. The woman who checked me in was delightful. And I really liked all the souvenirs available, as I relish a good gift shop. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee station. The water got really hot in the shower and the A/C was fully on when I checked in and operated perfectly. I didn't take advantage of it but they also have a POOL which I can imagine is insanely difficult to upkeep in this area but provides travelers with an incredible respite from the heat. They also offer breakfast in the morning but I left too early.”
