About
Dominguez Sheet Metal Works Inc operates out of El Paso, Texas and has handled local heating and cooling work since 1960. The company focuses on HVAC along with metal fabrication and welding for both homes and commercial spots around the city. Their crew uses a 120 foot Mantex crane to move heavy refrigeration and air conditioning gear into place on rooftops and tight sites. This setup fits the demands of El Paso properties where summer heat pushes systems hard and older duct runs often need full replacement. Homeowners reach them for repairs or new installs on refrigerated units that standard shops skip.
They service repair replace and install heating and cooling systems with flat rate pricing on many jobs and hourly rates that stay affordable for city wide calls. One customer had them put in a York central air conditioner plus all new ductwork and the system still runs without issues years later. Another needed custom skirting made and got it finished in a single day instead of waiting weeks. The team also handles stainless steel aluminum and cast iron welding plus crane lifts for commercial refrigeration and process cooling equipment when bigger lifts are required on site.
Reviews show steady praise for quick turnaround on fabrication tasks and solid long term results from full system installs but also point out repeated delays with service response and weak follow through after techs arrive. Some calls sat for days before anyone showed and customers noted poor updates from dispatch on timing. These patterns on speed and communication pull the overall marks down even when quality on completed work holds up. DIRT Score 3.47 from 26 reviews on Finds.

What Customers Say
“Nobody local could get me skirting like these guys did….1 day vs weeks from RV Dealers.”
“I wish I could give a zero star. Three days after requesting service on a refrigerated system, they finally come out. Speak with the two service people about the issue, they go on the roof and leave. No contact with me, but when I call the dispatcher says I will not let them work. They were on the roof and left, how is that I did not let them work. I was inside the house and looked out and the van was gone, without even a goodbye. Worst service I have ever received.”
“Called on a Wednesday to set up a service call for my ice machine. They said they could send someone out Monday or Tuesday. No one called or showed up. Called back Tuesday to see what the status was and was told we are busy and maybe they could come out on Thursday but I would have to call back on Thursday and see if they could still come. I asked if they were so busy if I should try another repair company. They told me yes I should try to find someone else. Would have been nice to tell me that upfront instead of wasting my time waiting. Clearly they have more work than they can handle and if you are a new customer prepare to be jerked around and maybe get someone out for a service call.”
“A number of years ago, Dominguez installed a York central A/C system along with all new ductwork in our home. The job was done very professionally and the system has worked flawlessly ever since.”
“Extremely high quality techs! They were very detailed with their work, efficient, and answered any and all questions I had about the system they placed in my home.”
