“Dr. Villarreal has been my doctor for close to 10 years. He is amazing and I have absolutely no complaints about him. I regularly recommend him. Somewhat recently there was a change in front staff and I have had only negative experiences since then. In all the time I’ve been going to Dr.Villarreal they were on top of everything. Once staff changed it’s been awful. So much so that after the last incident I’ve decided to switch doctors. For two months in a row getting my IUD replaced was pushed because my phone calls/ messages were not returned. I asked for an office manager in my messages and I was never contacted. They replaced my IUD pretty quickly after the second mess up but it felt like it was only because I was so upset on the phone. They told me they never received a single phone call when my log had several over multiple weeks. My final straw was last month with my mammogram. I took my papers to the imaging center and it was wrong, the employee there called Dr.Villareals office and never had their phone calls returned. They said I could call and I did and was assured it would be handled. No one called me back ONCE AGAIN, and when I called to follow up with the imaging center they said nothing had been fixed. I feel horrible about having to switch doctors because he is fantastic but my health comes first and his staff does not seem to care as much as he does. It’s very unfortunate.”
